Would you like to see the original porter finish their project?

I'm assuming the development on this is pretty much dead until the next person picks it up. Well actually the last update was from 10 days ago, so maybe it's still being worked on.

couldn't we just have something that speeds up emulation?

ps. i have no history with this sort of stuff, so i'm not sure if this has been done already or if its not possible yet...

it says it cannot find the directory. so what is the directory??
It says it in Black & White under the instructions in git-hub> Place your ROMs in this location: sdmc:/switch/desmume/roms/

It needs working on this does the roms crash a lot and don't run very well.

Except it's nowhere as good as No$GBA's.

Actually, I liked No$gba the best too but melonDS is going to beat No$gba in the near future.

I tried but melonds lags too badly for me to play
Is there any way to know where desmumenx saves the .sav files of the game?
Or anyway to fix lag in melonds

No, overclocking it (I dont recommended it but its working) for now or wait for further improvement in speed. They mentioned that in their own forum site.

there will never be a Switch or Android version of No$GBA. Not even one for Linux or MacOS simply because it's closed source, directly written for Windows and in some parts even written in x86 assembler making it probably as unportable as it can get. Besides the DSi supports and it's higher performance (which comes at the cost of accuracy, even DeSmuME is more accurate) it's advantages like the debugger are mostly irrelevant for the end user.

Have you turned on overclock in the melonDS settings? It should be faster than DeSmuME-NX. Still not full speed for most games though. Hardware renderer will probably be coming in the next release to help with that :P
