Thanks for the update, this fixed my DSiWare problem!

Although, the save file that it creates does not work, and it says that the system memory is corrupted. Can I import real saves to it instead?

Yes. Just grab the "public.sav" from the installed DSiWare, place in the same folder as the ROM, and then rename it to "romname.pub".

I've recently installed a cfw on my dsi (hiyacfw) and I downloaded TWLoader/DSIMenu++ (recent version) and dumped my copy of Mario Kart DS so i could play it off my SD card, sadly everytime i open MKDS i get a white screen (doesn't load the rom) I left it open for 30 minutes but it still didn't play the game can anyone help me

I did the same thing on my 3ds and it seems to work fine..

Rob, the biggest reason I use the DS forwarder stuff from your other thread is because the system playlog is populated with accurate titles and it looks native. When launching titles with this, does the playlog show the individual game or will it show the homebrew?

In Unlaunch options menu, set "No button" file to "HIYACFW" instead of "TWLMENU".

It will only show the launcher in the play log.

Hello everyone, hello Robz8,

can anyone help me, to get the DS/DSI-emulation to work?
I'm total new'b in that. I bought a used New3DSXL, which has already a custom firmware. I know how to transfer files to the SD-card over Wifi, how to installs Cia-files, but thats's all what I know. I don't know, how to get a firmware on a clean 3ds, if I would had to do that, because that I bought a device which already has a custom firmware. Is that spoken correctly? Or is my N3DSXL just "patched"/"cracked"? For sure is, I could install 3DS-roms, without the need of a 3DS-Gamecard module. The seller gave me als a "R4i 3DS RTS"-card to get a custom firmware on the device, and sd card. When I use the SD card in the device already, is it possible to use the sd card in the flash card, to install the DSI-emulation software, without loosing all the data which are already on the sd card? Or is a flash card not really necessary to get the emulation software installed?
If really someone is willed to help me, I could also send screenshots from the content of the sd card, or other information if this would be helpful.

Thank you!

1. This uses nds-bootstrap which natively plays this game on the hardware.
2. It's usually not the best idea to buy a pre-hacked 3DS since they tend to have outdated firmware. Which version of Luma do you have, if you do have it?
3. If you don't have CFW and can't install CIA files, follow http://3ds.hacks.guide. It'll tell you how to use your flashcart to install CFW.

Also, please try to split longer posts into paragraphs. It's hard to read one long wall of text :P

In Unlaunch options menu, set "No button" file to "HIYACFW" instead of "TWLMENU".

Hello.:)
If i do this now with TWiLight 6.6.0 comes "Start failed. Error 1 bootloader.nds not found!":O
Have the hiya.dsi in the Root of the SD Card.

Do i understand this right:
"You can now have TWiLight Menu++ go to SysNAND Launcher (aka System Menu) instead of SDNAND's!
Useful if you're getting the An error has occurred. screen.
In the settings screen, you will need to set which .app file is set as LAUNCHER in the Unlaunch menu. To check, press POWER, hold A, then highlight LAUNCHER. The .app name will be shown on the bottom screen."

The SD Nand Launcher is no longer supported?:O
