TX Announces SX GEAR now shipping along with 'improved' custom payload launching

Team-Xecuter is back again with yet another small news update, this time for their recently announced SX GEAR dongle
SXGearNow.jpg

They are happy to inform those that pre-ordered will be getting it in their hands to enjoy soon, and at the same time they announced details on how you use the dongle to auto-inject any payload you wish on boot-up.

This week the early adopters of our SX Gear dongle should be getting their product in!

Most are early SX OS users who couldn't wait for SX Pro to start shipping but were quickly missing the convenience, ease of use and safety of the SX Pro Dongle and jig. SX Gear is fully compatible with SX OS. You can purchase a license separately, or use an existing SX OS license that you have and use the regular SX OS boot.dat file. You now own a SX Pro, in red color :)

Also, many Switch owners asked us for an official Team Xecuter product that will allow them to use other (opensource) payloads. Team Xecuter provides the best quality product and users know it is best to stick to the brand they trust to make sure they have a device they won't have to replace after 50 boots. Or worse, one that would damage their precious Switch.

SX Gear is Team Xecuter's solution for the opensource community. To use it with your favorite payload, simply download the SX Gear `boot.dat' file from our website. Place this `boot.dat' file in the root of your microSD card together with the `payload.bin' file of your choice and the payload will run as soon as you power on your switch!

That's it for today folks! Keep an eye out for the upcoming SX OS v2.0!

Shipping only for pre-orders or you can actually buy them now without preordering? I'd gladly buy one..

Lol are you being serious ? If it was especially Chinese ones then you wouldn't be hearing those stories here that their dongle is broken because the capacitors died. Doesn't seem that reliable to me

do you think they use a quality battery in a $15 dongle ?

it's probably not the cap that is faulty but the soldering is crap

yes very serious. have a look here...

sounds right to me, the SX Pro is a high quality dongle that uses caps, while your $15 uses a battery

like I said the SX pro has sold many 1000s , lets see how many posts your $15 gets when its sold a few and the battery no longer charges. also in your post someone couldn't get theirs to work and they must have only sold a small number then.

Look above. I posted enough links with capacitor problems. And again a broken battery is easy to replace while capacitors ain't for most users. And actually if you look at the link of the dongles well they sold a lot and still no reports of battery problems

Once we stop brainwashing people, that Xecuter dongle is the only option, maybe we will be able to tell the fail rate of the other dongles. But I can't recall any "other dongles" problems yet (I am not saying that there are non).

I am sure there will be issues with all of them .. They are MADE IN CHINA... Xecuter is currently the best available option. My SX PRO system does this that your non SX system can't and I run Hekate, RieNX as well..

No, it's not the best option. The best option is the cheapest working dongle. Which isn't SX Gear nor Pro. But in this case, it's internal modhcip which is the best option :P

I am aware. They are ALL made in china. Just wait for the failure reports on the other products. That's what I said. Stop it.

I just pointed out that what they're saying is incorrect being this.
''Team Xecuter provides the best quality product and users know it is best to stick to the brand they trust to make sure they have a device they won't have to replace after 50 boots. Or worse, one that would damage their precious Switch''
There's nothing wrong with my comment calling them out about that that it just ain't true seeing the issues with the capacitors. You obviously got instantly triggered about that and are doing the same thing that ur complaining about.
Not saying one is better or worse, just calling out that their statement about theirs being the only one that doesn't have issues is incorrect seeing there are quite a few that have issues.

Prove it, otherwise, stop saying it.
Which you can't as this is personal opinion.

And BTW, where do you think SX dongles are made? In US? LOL.

you've posted a few links out of the 1000s that are out there, I'm sure Garyopa posted about the number sold, must be well over 10,000 . wheres the 100s of posts about them being faulty?

its a small number. so please stop making out its a large number

as for the best dongle, its still the smallest and best looking one.

you and Kubas_inko have made it clear from your posts your no fanboys of TX.

Awesome, how's the update? Anyone have issues with the update? Any good ideas? I think Dynamic configurations will be cool. I am gonna look in to make something like what inscripted did unless he wants to give it a go..

TX no doubt had their dongles made in china too, actually isn't that were TX originates from?

Nearly everything is made in china now, just TX slapped there logo on it and designed it themselves
