so that when it's closed the shield won't be upside down.

when its closed you can simply turn the thing around anyways. it doesn't matter what way its held.
but when played, you only have one option to hold and that turns all these cool designs upsidedown and make you look like an idiot.
the ones that have faces on them are even worse

not really, my old 3ds zelda link between worlds come with the code for download :C
but probably they changed it to preloaded in newer bundles?

Kinda doesn't surprise me that only gamestop is selling this LE.

Walmart had to markdown the 2dsxl system (regular colors) to $130 to get them to sell, so they weren't enthused about restocking more presumably.
Target even clearanced them to $44 in some locations O.O

Still, I think it's a pretty nice looking system. I must resist .... already have 30 3ds's.

I have 3 daughters ages 5,3,1 and another baby coming. So I'm liking these special edition n2ds

Legit .cia files can only be obtained with preinstalled consoles, and the difference BETWEEN them is that the ticket it creates is legit and can be transferred as if you bought the game. (But I could be partially wrong, feel free to add info on this.)
