Also, with sizing, I noticed at the beginning of my mod, my size showed 0 / 300mb
I've since added about 100 roms, with covers, modules, and now it shows 113.6mb / 177.4mb
Is that right? Not sure why the 300mb turned into 177.4mb
I ensured all compress settings are enabled as well.

Please let me know if this looks right or what I'm missing...thank you!

The first number at the bottom of hakchi2 is the total size of all games and their art files listed above (the games you've added).
As you add games, the first number will increase.

The second number is the total amount of space the SNES Mini has for you to add ROMs (including those already added) at this time.
As you use save states on the SNES mini (Canoe states are 2MB each) or install new modules, the second number will decrease.
The second number is only accurate (or even listed now with later versions of hakchi2) when the SNES mini is connected (green light in bottom left of the hakchi window)

The first number must be lower than the second number.

Just using all four save state slots for each of the included 21 games will use 168MB of the available space.
There is also 30MB of 'reserved' space not listed in hakchi2, but this is there just in case and not mean to be factored into how many games you add/how you use save states.

177-113 = 64. You have room for about 32 more save states before you'll start eating into the 30MB of reserved space.
You can see the size of your current saves via Tools | Savestate Manager.

Thank you guys for the explanation...makes sense now.
I would think they would just keep the 2nd number as is and the 1st number would show how much memory you've used.

The 30 per folder was so that you could have 4 save states per game. You could technically go up to 100, but just reduce the number of overall saves. On SNESC, compression has nothing to do with it. But, we run into issues once you pass 60 games, such as failure to load art, and so on. I tested this out pretty much the day I got the SNESC:)

Did you also check that if you keep one folder under 60 games, you can still use all four suspend points?
Also (please correct me if I'm wrong), on NES, while keeping one folder under 30 games, things must be adjusted when keeping games other than NES, e.g. SNES/Genesis games are no more than 15 games in one folder. Does that also apply on SNES? Are other games that are not SNES are adjusted as well (rom-size wise)? Or any games should be under 60, regardless of the platform?
Thank you. :)

I would just like to say, I've converted my NESCE to SNESCE and it is the shit! I set mine up for Nestopia to handle all of the NES games because in my opinion, it runs them much better than the stock emulator and doesn't have the terrible sound lag. Luckily, the snes stock emulator doesn't have these issues, so I'm using it for most of the snes games. Using genesis gx plus for Genesis and master system, which also run flawlessly. Went to my local used cd/video game store and bought 2 Wii classic controllers for about $11 each, and they work terrific. I'm running about a 100 games for each system (NES,SNES,Genesis, and Master System).
My advice is to bypass buying a SNESCE and just switch the firmware from your NES and you can have the best of both worlds.

I seem to be having an issue getting my only sega cd to work
-chd file
-bios installed
-I can only imagine I'm doing something wrong with the command line, but I don't know what to do to make it work

When I select the sega cd game I'm trying to play currently, it just instantly resets to the snes menu

Anyone able to point out what I'm missing? Thanks!

If anyone is interested in how to dualboot properly using DanTheMan827's method, here's a video:

In this method you can switch between consoles and add games through hakchi as you normally would, to both consoles.

Is there a way to transfer save files from Snes9x to the Snes mini emulator? I have a Chrono Trigger save file I'd love to transfer, but not sure it's possible.

Today's Core Set UPDATE 10-31-17

Added Ability to CHEAT in MAME 2003:)

As shown here:)

I also added Support for the Puzzle Game 2048! You can run 2048 a couple different ways. Just use RetroArch from GUI and load Core, and it will play automatically! I will do a video about the other way to run this tomorrow. Enjoy! I will also get more updates to Cores within the next day or two!

Use the Genesis Plus GX from my set, as well as the Bios for Genesis Plus GX. RetroArch will also need installed. Then, add the CHD file, and command line it to /bin/segacd

Let me know if you still need help:)

@KMFDManic - In your Cores 10-28-17 package, is there a difference between _km_glupen64_6_26_17.hmod and _km_mupen64plus_3_29_17.hmod ?
Also are these updated HMODs? Vs the ones from the original Retroarch with Cores package? For ex, for glupen64 in the original Retroarch package, it's just listed as glupen64.
Are there difference between these _km_ ones?

When I was reflashing my custom kernel (after updated from 2.21d to 2.21f), a message about md checksum error popped up, but I chose OK anyway and continued syncing. I then tested some games, they ran well. Will I experience any issue in the future?
