but only the mac would be banned if its the ban wave and you transferred

What is weird about my ban is I cant access the eshop either? I get 022-2501 when I try to use it.

I am pretty sure this has been said a million times, but I was able to unban my goat system using this tutorial.

Given how she was talking about it in other posts, probably a honeypot system with various programs like freeshop, FBI, etc. both installed and ran at some point to see if and when the system would be banned.

A goat system is basically short for "sacrificial goat." Basically it's an extra system I have put aside for testing purposes so not to risk losing my main system.
I wasn't sure how common the term was, but I've seen it tossed around in several groups of mine.

If you use menuhax, replace every time i say sysnand with emunand. Doing anything to your sysnand without a9lh will result in a brick!

With that being said....

So many people lately have been reporting bans from unknown causes. This tutorial will help get the 3ds working on the eshop and online games. Frankly, i don't reccomend following this tutorial until the cause of the ban is found out, to avoid getting banned again, but use at your own risk. Account based things like Pokemon bank will be lost from this. Note that your friends list and games will still be there. Also note: you cannot access nnid settings after being banned, even after this method. Your eshop history will also disappear.

Here is what you will need:

1. the banned 3ds
2. An unbanned 3ds
3. Decrypt9 running on both.

Now here are the instructions:

Method 1:

1. boot up decrypt9 on the unbanned 3ds.

2. Go to sysnand options and dump you friendcodeseed_B

3. Put the sd card in the computer and backup the file you just dumped.

4. Download this:

5. Now on the banned 3ds, go into decrypt9 and dump secureinfo_A

6. Open secureinfo_A in a hex editor. The very last line should be your 3ds console id. To confirm this, it should match up to the code on the back of your 3ds. Without changing the first 2 letters, just change some random numbers and make a new id.

7. After that, put all 3 files you made/ downloaded in the files9 folder of the banned 3ds.

8. Go into decrypt9 on the banned 3ds and inject all 3 files. Congratulations your 3ds is unbanned.

Method 2:

This only requires a second normal 3ds that does not need to be modded. The issue though is this will Ban the unbanned 3ds!

1. Do a system transfer between the banned and unbanned 3ds

2. Profit.

As far as i've tested, the unbanned 3ds should still be able to go online along with the banned 3ds, but this is not certain. Also, just in case, do not share the friendcodeseed_B with anyone else, as i don't know what happens when too many 3ds's have the same friendcodeseed. Also if the 3ds blackscreens, that means your cfw is not compatible with the injection, but most are. This could also have strange side effects, but nothing major. After doing this, my folders on my home screen were named after gba injects i had, and game updates needed to be downloaded again, but finished in several seconds.

Not to be rude or anything but method 2 is a lie. Because I did a systransfer between a banned and not banned 3ds and they just stayed banned and not banned.

I think you might have to transfer the localfriendcodeseed_B along with the system transfer to fully unban. My mistake.

I have the 002 - 0102 code, I can access Miiverse, NNID settings, eShop, and everything but online multiplayer, will this method remove my access to NNID?

Optional is to do a system transfer. Is that required to unban? I would be getting my seed from an O3DSXL and I can't system transfer that to an N3DSXL. Thanks!

You need to do a system transfer if you don't have access to decrpyt9.
