Am I able to d/load the update and DLC for this game since I'll be USB Loading and not using Loadiine or will this break the game/patch?
Is saying to move the files to the PC storage before patching, not to patch from SD card as incan I download this patcher, run it on my loadiine ready files on my computer, then put them on my sd card and run the game just fine? it says in the OP not to patch on your sdcard, but does this mean to never run this version of the game off anything but usb harddrive or internal nand? or does it simply mean, move the game from the sdcard to your computer, patch, move it back, run it off the sdcard?
thanks for clarifying, i just wanted to be sure. downloading now.
We strongly recommend applying the patch to files located on your hard drive to speed up the patching process.
Please do not apply the patch to a game on your SD card, this can cause space and speed issue and cause corruption of your game files.
No, it does not. The files that the patcher targets are game files found on disc or from game downloads, so updates won't do anything to make it break.Does updating the game with the v16 patch break the restoration in any way?
In XCX the DLC is just the HDD files for faster loading. So it's completely worthless.i installed the restored game in usb storage with wup installer, does installing the dlc break the restoration? I think i read somewhere that in xenoblade chronicles the dlc breaks the undub or something like that, thats why im wondering if the same happens with this restoration
I think after hours/days wasted because of a slightly damaged sd card that led to wupinstaller refusing to install unsigned content from NUSPacker I found something interesting.
As there was no approach to boot this patched game after installing it to usb without sigpatching and it therefore wasn't as Brazilian as I liked I decided to get it working again.
(0. Only for this patch, if you just replace files for an undub be sure moving the files on your PC worked flawlessly: Verify that your game is correctly patched.)
1. Pack it with NUSPacker and install it with wupinstaller after starting a CFW.
2. After you dumped your console tickets with tik2sd the keys.txt says were the bucket-file (later called tik-bucket) for titles including the titleid of the game (in my case TMS) is stored.
3. Then you start the encrypted download for this game with JNUSTool and cancel it right After it started to just get the .tmd file, you can also just download the tmd from ccs.cdn.wup.shop.nintendo.net/ccs/download/[titleid]/tmd directly.
Then download, edit and replace some files via the hex-editor of your choice and wupclient, but you can also use ftpiiu, just be sure you have
4. Run a cfw prior to this, or you won't be able to access these directories.
5. Now search for the directory-name/file-name of the tik-bucket in the keys.txt file, there are two cases how to proceed:
6.a If the tik-bucket mentioned in the keys.txt only contains one titleid:
{Replace the /vol/system_slc/rights/ticket/apps/[idx]/tik-bucket file with the one from the disc ticket also obtained via tik2sd and rename it to the exact same name as tik-bucket of course.}
6.b If the tik-bucket mentioned in the keys.txt contains more than one titleid:
{Download the tik-bucket to your PC via ftpiiu or wupclient.
Open that file in the hex-editor of your choice, HxD on Windows or Bless on Linux are recommended.
Also open the disc-ticket in the same hex-editor and copy the whole content of it (length of 0x350)
Then select a length of 0x350 in the tik-bucket starting at the offset mentioned in the keys.txt and paste the content of the disc-ticket there.
Compare the original size of the original tik-bucket of the new tik-bucket to be sure that the file size didn't change.
If it matches, replace the /vol/system_slc/rights/ticket/apps/[idx]/tik-bucket file with the newly created one.}
7. Then replace the title.tmd file stored under /vol/storage_usb/usr/title/00050000/[titleid]/code/title.tmd with the downloaded one and that was it.
No need for any sigpatching and you can still boot your game via brazilian method (as long as only the content folder was changed which is the case here).
And the most important thing: No slow uploads of large files via wupclient(~500KB/s with sd->usb)/ftpiiu(~140KB/s), just two small files.
There is currently no faster way than from sd to usb and this only via wupinstaller, so please don't waste ~20 hours with ftpiiu or ~8 hours with wupclient (with wiiu_sd ->wiiu_usb).
Maybe one can also replace the files directly in the install directory but the differing encryption key could be a problem, didn't try it though.
I just edited the ticket with HxD with the legit ticket coming before the fake one and worked! Thanks anyway your tutorial helped a lot@raphamotta DLC is offered on eShop->ticket generated specific for users->no valid, user-independent ticket as discs have them->not usable without signature patches (or you buy it).
both the game and DLC needs to be on the same externaldrive. DLC wont activate being on the Wii U internalI'd just like some clarification if it's possible to install the patched version to my external storage with something like WUP or will I need to run the game from loadiine every time I want to play??
EDIT: I've got a WUP version compiled now but I'm having trouble activating the DLC, if I re-install the DLC will it remove the patch?
While the root of envelope is envelop, it's not the same word, while an envelope is used as something to send a letter in, it's also used to describe something that surrounds something else, meaning it is a noun.Dude, envelopes is the proper spelling.
