I dumped my game twice (once through ddd and once as a .wud). I patched the ddd dump successfully, then converted the .wud to an "install" folder and installed it with wupinstaller. It all works fine but since I don't want to use Loading, I now have to copy the patched files to the Wii U from my SD card using wupserver and wupclientMod.
The reason I mention all of this is because I'd love to know (as has already been asked, from what I've seen) if there is a faster method. My SD card isn't super-fast, to be fair (I think it's only a class 6, unfortunately - I bought it a while ago and will have to get a better one sometime soon), but it has been running for about 6 hours now, maybe longer, and it has only transferred approximately 100MB out of the ~10GB it has to transfer. It hasn't even finished the first file yet.
One thing to note is that I did select all the files to copy from the SD card, then pasted them onto the Wii U all at once. Could that be slowing it down? I doubt it though, because it's still transferring files one at a time, at least as far as I can tell. If it's transferring them all at the same time, then that would be the explanation.
I'm going to stop it and try again anyway, just to see if it makes a difference, but if anyone has a faster alternative (which I fear doesn't currently exist), please let me know.
EDIT: Ignore my problems, I figured it out. As I guessed, it was actually trying to copy multiple files at once rather than queueing them and transferring them one at a time. So if your transfers are going as ridiculously slow as mine were, make sure you're only transferring one file at a time. You can do more, but it's not worth it, unless you want to leave your Wii U and PC on for the next week.
