I've recently got hold of a Wii U and softmodded it. One of my main reasons to get the Wii U was being able to play DS games.
However I'm a bit confused since there seems to be different ways to play DS games?
I'm currenetyl using Loadiine and a program calleded NDS to WiiU to inject each game. Most of the games seems to play fine. I've only experienced issues with Henry Hathsworth. The game boots but crashes in the beginning of the game in the area where you find your hat. I've tried both the PAL and NTSC version and the crash occures on the exact same spot.

Loadiine got very long loading times to boot each game. Is there a better way to play DS games apart from the one I've described here?

Yes, there is a better way - inject your DS games into official installable files (obtained Helpfully for your Wii U to install to USB) using DSInject https://gbatemp.net/threads/dsinject-definitive-nds-wii-u-virtual-console-injector.544116/ or Injectiine https://github.com/CatmanFan/Injectiine &c. and install them from the SD card to the internal memory or hard disk with WUP Installer https://consolemods.org/wiki/WiiU:WUP_Installer_GX2. They will load much faster than through Loadiine.
https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/WiiU_VC_NDS_injection suggests that your game should work better that way.

The only problem could be the 300 title limit, that's why it could be helpful to have those DS and other virtual console titles in Loadiine.
