Did you even read the thread? I meant a cfw. It was obvious when I said "Luma3DS"

We need less posts like yours.
If you wanted to (completely) uninstall a CFW, all you have to do is.
a) Choose the Uninstall option in SafeA9LHInstaller.
b) Restore a NAND backup that doesn't have A9LH installed.
You happy?

My blowtorch and electro-magnet would beg to differ

That's how to uninstall A9LH - to 'uninstall' 'CFW' (which isn't really installed) you just delete /arm9loaderhax.bin

Man I don't want to sound like an ass but the topic of removing cfw not only has been discussed here many times before as it's even a sticky if I'm not mistaken.

It's a good idea to use the search tool before creating a new thread, people tend to be less helpful as the same questions get asked over and over again.

Go to Google.com and type your search query plus the word "gbatemp" or "site:gbatemp.net" and that will get you results that you're looking for. Don't bother with the site's search, it is crap. Except if you're looking for posts by a particular member or in a date range.

Unlike the bandwagon going on, if you have a NAND backup before you installed AL9H, you can just restore that WITHOUT keeping A9LH.
If you don't, all you need to do is remove AL9H and Luma3DS.
When I remove cfw will the pirated games i installed with cfw still work?

but wouldn't it only be other region games that wouldn't work? ircc people could install legit cias with just an arm 9 exploit to install them, as long as you still have a9lh or can use an arm 9 exploit you can still install them and even without them they should still boot even without them as long as there from your 3ds's region, please do let me know though how I may be wrong

LEGIT cias have legit tickets, so they will work. Any pirated game has a faked ticket and will not run without signature patching CFW.

wouldn't it still be pirating if you downloaded the legit cia from some place and installed it....I'm at a bit of a loss here

Legit CIAs come from 3DS systems that include a preloaded game. Those games are made to work with any system, so if you format your console, you won't lose the game. Because of this, they will work without CFW.

seems that when it's done through freeshop it installs the actuall ticket because if you remove the game without removing the ticket the eshop still detects it and treats it as if you owned it, I found this out the other day with smash bros, there isn't enough space on my sd for both the game to install and the cia from my physical version so I just went through freeshop, uninstalled it from fbi withut clicking the remove ticket option to open up space for another game one day and found out it now shows the redownload option instead of the the purchase option, not sure if it would carry over as I don't want to test this with removing a9lh/luma myself
