So i got the Hylian Shield and so far, yes it has 90 Def and infinite durability, might be wrong but i've been parrying Guardian shots left and right and shit stays solid!

Has anyone actually gotten the Master Sword though?? do we really need 15 hearts to get it or is there something else?
Also where to get good armor aside from kakariko and hateno?

ok, so i dont want to read the other oists due to spoilers. can someone tell me how you get the sheikah slate scan function? the one that marks enemies health? iv gotten a pretty decent way through the story and havent seen any sign of it yet.

I have a question (excuse me again for my english) how to beat the elephant boss ? Because I don't know how to doge ice block... I try to hit with my sword but it is very hard to hit.

its a bit obscure if you didnt already know you can do it. you can break your ice blocks (including your own) with the ice run by placing your cursor over it and pressing A.

And have (again) one question how to have rupees? Because for the fairy in "cocorico (in french)" I need 100 ruppes. And actually I have 0 :-(.

Not a spoiler, just go to the bottom floor of hyrule castle til you find a prison area, look for a room with big skeletons and beat it, he'll have the hylian shield.

On a related note, anyone know where the guard armor sets are in the castle?? Its not in the barracks, prison, or zelda's room...

I would hold onto those if I were you. You can use them to upgrade your runes and also to make armor and weapons later in game.

It's not a slate ability. It's an ability attached to the blue tunic that impa gives you.

that just shows you their health in combat, it doesnt allow you to scan them from a distance. or does it? am i missing something?

Save up all of the stuff you get from the guardians. Springs, gears, screws, etc.

There's no ability like that. The only other scan feature thats in the game is once you get the camera you can take pictures of enemies, plants and weapons and then set them in the shieka sensor so that it tells you when ones nearby.

in literally every e3 trailer, you clearly see them scanning enemies with the sheikah slate. i dont really see the point of featuring a function heavily in prerelease footage just to cut it shortly before release.
