I have the Luma code section then xxx.bin

And saltysd on root with SunMoon and the "a" folder and it doesn't work for sun or moon and yes they have separate code bins with there proper title

Did you check ""Enable region/language emu. and ext. .code" with your Luma settings ?
Did you patched the code.bin ?

I've been trying to add custom music to my Pokemon Moon for bit, but cant seem to make it work, I read all the posts and followed the directions to the best of my ability, i have luma3DS,and I renamed the hau theme music that I wanted to bgm_nj_vs_friend.dspadpcm.BCSTM and had it in SunMoon/data/sound and the music isnt changing after I loaded it through luma3DS. I managed to get the no outlines mod working, but not the music

any help would be most appreciated if I missed something, thank you

Did you put the sound file in SunMoon/data/sound or in saltysd/SunMoon/data/sound? The SunMoon folder needs to be inside of the saltysd folder, which should be on the root of your SD card.

Follow my instructions in the other thread you posted in about this issue to set up SaltySD. Do you have CFW?

Im looking at your instructions now. CFW is custom firmware right? I have luma3DS and I have the exefs and romfs of my Pokemon Moon. Sorry, Im still learning about all this haha.

Yes. All you need is the code.bin from your exefs so that you can patch it.

Okay cool. Hopefully this isnt a dumb question but how do I patch my code.bin? Is that written in your guide?

Yes, I provided a link to a post in this thread actually on how to properly patch the code.bin file in my tutorial. Just follow the instructions in that post, then go back to my tutorial.

Awesome! I see it the post and following it now! thank you so much! I don't remember if I mentioned that I got the no outline mod working. Will that still be there if I patch my code.bin? I downloaded a code.bin to get that. It's okay if not, im just curious if I can have both at the same time.

I got the music working! But now I dont have the no outlines. Which is okay because im glad I have the music! But how would I be able to have both the music and the no outlines?

Find a fresh code.bin, patch it for the no outlines patch, then patch it for SaltySD and it should work.
