I have a couple of 3DSs that the top screens were ripped off when I was young. One is an original 3DS and a New 3DS model I was watching the SuperToad tutorial and I found a comment posted by the creator saying the 330 OHM resistors weren't necessary but used to be a little safe. Can anyone show me how to do it I am too lazy to get some 330 OHM resistors and I want to get it done quickly.

I did a 3ds slider (a 3ds macro but it seems to be called slider) using the 330 ohm resistors and it wasn't that bad. I don't know if it works on 3ds but on the ds you could just simply strip the top lcd and leave connected the backlight and you didn't need resistors but on the 3ds I didn't find anything relating to that. But as I said, I used 2 resistors and soldered them, you can also solder a speaker too. Believe me, it's better to use the resistors since we know how to do it, I haven't seen anyone doing it without

Here's how mine looks
