pour Gay Fates en particulare, ne utilizez pas votre dossier "Extracted RomFS". Mettez votre "DecryptedRomFS.bin" en RomFS Extractor, parce que Fire Emblem a beaucoup des fichiers apellent en japonais et PackHack n'aime pas beaucoup ces symbols. trouvez le dossier pour tous les contents du RomFS, et deplacez les contents de Gay Fates\v0.#.#\HANS version dans ce dossier, i.e. les dossiers "Gamedata" et "m". si l'ordinateur demande qu'on veut replacer les fichiers avec les memes noms, cliquez "oui". mettez le dossier du RomFS dans RomFS Builder et appliquez avec HANS sur votre Homebrew Launcher.

sinon, demandez a votre ami qui a installe tous les cracks comment on met un hack avec NTR CFW? malheuresment, je ne l'utilise pas.

what am I supposed to change that byte to?

what is EF +1?

Just change it to EC as he showed in the picture. I knoticed he originally had EB, but changed it to EC at step 10.
I was confused at that part too, but using EC worked for me

Logically you have to change EF to F0. Considering you are writing HeX. EG can't work since Hex does only have 16 Numbers (0-F) so EG does not make Sense.

Anyone here know what I am doing wrong? I successfully dumped, edited and packed the rom. It's 0017A800.romfs in the hans folder on the root of my SD card now. But when I try to launch it using hans, it's just stuck with some coloured pixels on the left side and a wide white stripe.

I've a question - is there any way to build the patch into a CIA a la pokemon, so I don't need to keep launching NTR every time?

My friend install me the amiibo and all paralogue patch with NTR and it succeded but not the last gay patch and he don't know why. Do i have to make a new game or it's an installation's problem ?

if you're playing the European version of fates, put all of the contents of Gay Fates folder @E into the folder @U, located in the folder titled "m" in your extracted romfs. Recompile the romfs and see if it's working.

desole, je veux dire "le dossier". c'est dans votre dossier du romfs extrait. "(nom de dossier romfs)/m/" est la location de ce dossier, "@E". changez le nom a "@U."

Aussi: si on a les deux dossiers, c'est plus simple de mettez tous les contents de "@E" dans le dossier de "@U". Ne mettez pas le dossier lui meme, seulement les fichiers dans ce dossier.

I'm brand new to HANS/romhacking/everything else, I literally only bothered setting this up because the lack of lesbian options in conquest was infuriating. Does this mean I won't be able to launch the game through the home menu anymore, only through HANS? (I guess I could install HANS to the home menu, if there's a cia available of it)

Also, does this mean that launching the game is simply launching from the rebuilt .romf -- is it even using the cart at all anymore? Or, relevantly, will it be affected by future updates to the main game or will I have to rebuild the .romf each time there's an update to Fates? I realize I'd definitely have to rebuild the .romf to add any updates made to the gayfates patch itself, but.

....I realized I can just install NTR CFW since I'm running Luma3DS through A9LH. I did that. I placed the fefatesSE and plugin folders into the root of my SD card, and the NTR CFW menu does not have a "game plugin" option or anything to load the plugin. I thought, maybe this is because I have the conquest game cartridge, not the special edition -- so I deleted the plugin folder and the fefatesSE folder, and replaced them with the Conquest folder and its plugin folder. Still, the NTR CFW menu only shows: [Process Manager, Enable Debugger, Set Hotkey, Take Screenshot, Real-Time Save (Experimental), CPU Clock (New3DS Only), Power, Backlight]. No 'game plugin', no 'plugins', no 'MakeAmericaGayAgain', nothin. What am I doing wrong?

With NTR CFW all you have to do is run Boot NTR and the hack is automatically applied. When you boot the game the top screen will flash green, if it doesn't you probably have the wrong plugin or put something in the wrong place.

The gay plugin is not suppose to appear in the NTR menu. Its activated by going into the game with the screen flashing Green during the 3DS boot as ValianChan stated. If you have any cheats for the game I advise you to remove them just to make sure the screen flashes green as an indicator the Gay plugin is the only thing thats activated. Then you can add the cheats back in to the plugin folder

Which conversation?
Many of the Gay-Patch support options do not have conversations yet, because those have to be written manually and added to the patch. It is normal to have those missing from your game.
However, if a support that should have a conversation (listed on the first post of this thread) somehow does not, then that would not be normal.
