Ok then you probably have one of two common problems. There may have been an error in folder naming, OR some of the Japanese file names got corrupted when you unzipped the hack.
You should have two folders in the root of your SD card, one titled "plugin" and one titled something like "fefatesSE" or "Conquest" or "Birthright." Double click on the folder with the game version name on it. Make sure it matches up to the game version you own.
Check in the folder labeled with the game name (Conquest, etc.), in the folder titled "m", that you DO NOT have a folder named @E-- if you do, move its contents (not the folder itself) into @U.
Alternatively, some of the file names in the "@U" or "common" folders may have gotten corrupted when you unzipped the Fates Patch itself. This is because many unzipping programs (winrar, peazip, etc.) don't play nice with files named in Japanese. This can be solved by copying and pasting the names into Google Translate, English=>Japanese, and changing the name of the file to the corrected version.
(I have personally only had this problem once, and I found it much quicker to just run WinRAR with a Japanese Locale, and unzip from there.)
If everything looks correct, then there may have been an error in Euro CFW conversion...? .... possibly? Unfortunately, I can't be of much help to you there because I know nothing about Euro-specific troubleshooting. However, I would definitely check for the above common issues before coming to that conclusion.

Polysexual, from my understanding, would already be covered by the patch allowing romances between basically everybody. Do you mean polyamorous? There's a polyamory patch in the works elsewhere on the forum that allows you to marry multiple characters at the same time.

Can you go into more detail about using winrar with a japanese locale? I have the NA version of fates, and I have an @E folder, though, curiously, no @U folder. I created one and copied (not cut) the files in @E over. Most seem uncorrupted, though there are a few filenames in english.

Your files look totally uncorrupted to me... some of them are, indeed, named with English alphabet letters in the original, 100% correct file.
If you very strongly believe, however, that your issues with viewing support conversations come from corrupted filenames, attempt Google Translating as described previously. Otherwise, you can run with Japanese locale, though as I said-- your files look totally 100% okay to me. I see you are running some sort of Mac OS, so I don't personally know anything about using a Japanese locale there? Here is a link to a neato locale tutorial I found, though. After completing this tutorial, you can usually just right click=>"Run with Japanese Locale" on your unzipping program, open up your Gay Fates folder within, and re-unzip away.
@U is a folder exclusive to the European version, as the original questioner specified. If you have the NA version of Fates, delete the @U folder you made. Keep everything in @E and leave it at @E-- the @E folder is literally the same folder as @U, but localized for a North American locale.
I see that you are using the folder for the Special Edition of Fates (fefatesSE). Confirm that you do, indeed, own the special edition of Fates that is all three games (Birthright, Conquest, and Revelations) on one game cartridge. If not, regardless of whether you are playing a Revelations/Birthright/Conquest file, use the folder that is labeled with the game cartridge that you own. For digital-only versions, this should be the first game that you purchased.
(I ask only because the Special Edition is a little rarer than other game versions, and. Well. You would not be the first person to mistakenly use the folder because they wanted to patch Revelations. Totally guilty of this myself.)
According to UV's readmore, both "plugin" and "fefatesSE" should be in the root of your SD card, i.e. not in any other folders. I have no idea if you have any sort of custom setup, though.
If everything checks out from this troubleshooting list, make sure that your hacking programs are all working fine... like there isn't something wrong with your NTR CFW, or that you have the correct game selected, or that you haven't mistakenly been clicking the wrong program (sounds dumb, but it happens to me all the time). Please keep in mind that certain conversations have not been added to the patch yet, because they must be manually written!

You can't update a .cia that way. You're better off using NTR if you intend to update as more convos are released.
To get kids, you can either hex edit or use the gamedata file with all paralogues unlocked. The latter is easier, but won't correctly identify siblings.
That's easy to fix with FEFTwiddler.
Just take your save, say you married Kaden and Keaton, Selkie and Velouria would have their parents flipped and thus not recognized as sibling, but it's as easy as swapping these 2 bytes in one of them, not both, just take one of the not recognized siblings and swap these 2 values;
Does the paralogue gamedata way even identify both parents? I did it on a save to test it and the kid didn't inherit haircolor or anything.
I'm confused by something, the main post says Leo can support with Yukimura, yet there would be no way to view it, since Yukimura doesn't join in Revelation. Was that changed in this patch?
I'm trying to make this work for a EUR digital version of Birthright with the NTR plugin but nothing. I don't have the green flash when I launch the game.
I use NTR 3.3 and it launches fine but that's pretty much all.
Edit: I gave up, not a single cheat, patch or whatever works...
Edit2: I managed to make it work with the special edition card or cia, but still no go with the digital Birthright.

so if my male avatar is going to be married to niles like the game freaking allow, in order to have my child, i should have some hacking and everyting is okay? i guess ill have my male kana? do i even need this patch for it to happen, since i dont really plan to make enyone else (more than they are alrealy) gay?

I found the bloody issue.
I open the plugin in a Hex editor and I saw that the folder was spelled "birthright" not "Birthright" as it is in the archive. So I renamed the folder and now it works...
No, I don't think you'd need the patch if you're not gonna have any other gay couples. Just make sure you follow the tutorial to get the kids and have them as siblings.

I rebuilt the files to a new rom but if I try to start a new game it freezes in a black screen when the character creation menu should appear.
Any idea or solution to get it working ?

Firstly, I apologize if this issue has already been addressed - I don't mean to clog the thread. However, while playing as my f!Corrin, I can't seem to generate Kana's recruitment chapter when romancing Scarlet? I followed the guide for modifying the bytes that should have set her to male properly, but it doesn't change and when I go to support, her screen is still pink? I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I decompressed and recompressed at the appropriate times and renamed things as appropriate, overwriting the existing file on my sd card. I'll try with one of the other pairings to see if it's just this one that's being wonky, but I'm not sure why that would be?
Some info: running the hack through homebrew, on a physical copy of the NA Birthright and all the s-supports appear as they should. My Corrin has several potential s-supports ready to go (I don't know if that could be the issue? If you're only supposed to have the one?), I deleted the first four bytes when indicated in the guide and copy-paste inserted the new first four as directed after following the other steps, changed the first byte to 13 and the second to F0 (from EF). I really don't know what else to try, I'm just confused and a little frustrated - not at this wonderful hack, but apparently that I'm garbage with even the most straightforward directions. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Also the support itself is really sweet, so if nothing else, I have gotten to enjoy it multiple times. :'D (Never saving, of course).
EDIT: I just attempted it with Hinata and Subaki (I changed Hinata's value to 01), and that didn't work either? I'm even more unsure what I'm doing wrong now.
EDIT2: I tried again using a suggestion earlier in the thread, with Scarlet, by changing the second byte in the file to EC after copying and pasting it and it still didn't work. Wondering how many more options there are to try.
