I have only a WiiRemote without a Nunchuck. Can i play Games with only this controller (for example racers) ..?
No, you need at least a nunchuck or classic controller.
and a classic controller is much better recomended since with nunchuck you will get awful controls for most games due to the lack of buttons CC has all the buttons atleast.

Also make sure both your wiimote and CC are official, if they are 3rdparty/fake they will likely not work.

Unless it's a 3rd party controller that is licensed by Nintendo like the PDP controllers that look like a GameCube controller but plug into the Wiimote (these are treated as Classic Controller Pro controllers and have no analog L/R).

It would be really cool to have memory card slot B support. Dolphin has it. They just name it MemoryCardA.USA.raw and MemoryCardB.USA.raw. It would be particularly useful in playing games like Phantasy Star Online. I can play at my house and my buddy can play at his house. When we meet up for co-op, we could just use a PC to transfer and rename his .raw from A to B or vice versa. PSO uses slot A for the main game save. During co-op, slot B is used to load a temp character. When you exit the game, it saves slot A progress and then slot B progress. When he goes back home we could transfer and rename the new .raw with his new progress back to his USB/SD and he can continue where he left off once he gets back to his house. I like playing on my big screen with my Wii U, but it is so convenient with Dolphin to have slot A and slot B.

The big issue is the amount of RAM we have to work with in Wii mode. Maybe if Nintendont is ever ported to Wii U mode Slot B can be implemented.

I'm not really a programmer but would it help if Slot B was small in size?

Or maybe when you enable Slot B both MCs are shrunken to small size, for example nenmem.raw can go up to 16MB and so is ninmemj.raw but Nintendont will automatically create two more raw files one is called mca.raw and mcb.raw both are small in size, when you enable the option to use Slot B Nintendont will use these two raw files instead where you will only use to save games where you make use of both slots like the Chao Race.

not that simple do you know how some games even crackle the sound when acessing memory card or saving? nintendont would need to do the double ammount of calls and write/read from 2 diferent files im guessing most games would become beep fests.

I don't mind the beeping since I will only use it occasionally with certain games.

Played a LOT of Mario Sunshine last weekend. Hopefully going to beat it this weekend. Looks amazing in HD. Thanks again to all who contributed to this project.

Depends on the game. Most Wii games were written in 720p or 1080p but the Wii downscales it to 480p.
i highly doubt anyone would have made a wii game with 1080p codding lol. and we are talking about gc games trough nintendont being called HD not wii games xD.

I managed to fix this for my Wii, but now that I have a Wii U and don't remember how I fixed it the first time, I'm gonna need some help. My Dualshock 3 controller

- freezes the nintendont menu at configs loaded when it's plugged in
- when I plug it in after the game I want to play has already launched, the music loops a fews seconds repeatedly before eventually freezing outright with that demonic beeping noise. The only way to stop it is to unplug the controller, which resets the entire console within a few seconds.

first make sure your using nintendont 389(latest version), then delete your ninconfig file on the root of usb/sd then profit?

Still the vWii upscales the GameCube games to 1080p as the GameCube games are being run through Nintendont which is running on Wii code. Granted most GameCube games looked beautiful at 480p to begin with.

I love looking at the Main Menu of StarFox Adventures as you can see Fox's fur wave and the individual hairs.

EDIT: Why do you think the cutscenes from Smash Bros. Brawl are so huge? They take up about 1/2 the dual-layer disc.

That doesn't change the game's resolution, though. It's still running with a 480 framebuffer. 1080p would require a LOT of video RAM.
