Hacking (Noob Hour!) just got another wii on 5.3.2 and need some pointers...

ok so big warning, i am a fresh off the boat noob to wii u hacking, just got it yesterday.
so i have been reading for a day yesterday and i still cant really get my head around the exploiting process.

now i have a couple of questions..

Do i need to setup anything special in the SD card to launch a exploit website?

i was wondering if theirs anything i need to put in the sd card prior to launching a exploit website?

~~How do i spoof my FW?~~ ✔

Before i actually do anything i want to spoof my Firmware so i dont have to really worry about update nags and i also want to system transfer from a 5.5.0 but i keep getting a constant error 0xFFFCFFE9 meaning i have no sd card in (which i do and mii plaza can right to it) from here
WUP Installer - Title installer + Firmware spoofing (Got it working)

what are WUD files? ✔

from what i gather is there like WAD files back on the wii, installable titles or homebrew.
but i keep reading that they are more like a wii u Zip file and are to be extracted in order to use them.
one other thing is that WUD files work and play on the pc wiiU emulator as is so theirs that.
my goal is to convert my Disk to WUD and install to my Wii U like how we install .CIA to 3ds home menu
~also how if possible do i even install these WUD files? Is WUP Installer - Title installer the only way? i dont really like the sound of "theirs no feedback to tell me its done" idea.

how do i go about blocking updates?

now i know for the most part that you are supposed to use DNSHAX for blocking updates but 1 how does that work on blocking updates, 2 how does that know how to block updates and 3 i hear that dnshax in not foolproof.
as for allowing internet to access my Wii u i am very careful on that i use my laptop to wireless tether to my wii u at the click of a switch meaning this wii u is not exposed to any to the internet for any longer then it has to, i load a exploit i switch off the wifi. (but i haven't had any luck running any exploits, most just crash wii u)
can i block the update websites via my laptop firewall settings or host file?

Error codes and errors i run into to

when trying to load some exploits i keep running into a error

odsriver kernel exploit
running exploit...
race attack failed! reloading kernel

another erorr i get is that when i load a exploit all that happens is that it freezes for a second or 2 and quits back to home menu. (i was told thats supposed to happen and i have to run the exploit again).

WUD files are just Wii U Disc Images (like ISOs, but encrypted(?)). to install anything besides game updates/spoofs, we'd need iosu access and maybe even cfw
as for anything else, good luck

mmh ok, so even on 5.3.2 we dont have iosu access right?

there are a few private IOSU exploits, but nothing has been done to capitalize on that due to them not being public. the only proof somewhat related to what we want is redNAND CFW by Smea (private)

i see, perhaps ill just rip my disk to sd format then for now, i really hate switching disk for everything, thats why i hack all my systems, to remove the need to switch disk
