ok nice. It's very hard to decide between some of the themes I downloaded lol.

edit: I think my original problem way back may have been that my first theme was corrupted...darn, I liked it too. It won't install but the others will. Next time i have my SD card out, I'll remove it from the file.

can anyone help me out , i just installed tubehax and im trying to use this but everytine i open it on the homebrew channel i get a "error:string " msg and it tells me to exit

Oh and i also need SaveData.dat backup both before and after theme suffling disable.

Do you want me to set the theme to a Theme Shop one, or basic/no theme?

Kept trying to fight ftbrony to copy the files, but it just wouldn't, so I unscrewed the back of the N3DS (because microSD management doesn't work under Linux for some reason).

What would cause this when I try to install one theme in particular?

When I try to install this theme, I get this:
Error: "[String "?"]:92: Error writing fh
Press A to restart
Press B to exit.

What's that from?

Probably bgm.bcstm being too large.

You can just remove the file though, or replace it with one from another theme.

Themes can run without that file and only the Body file? I do have several loaded on that do not have that file and they're the working ones.

Not all themes have bgm.bcstm, although if this specific theme doesn't work without it, give/link it to me and I'll fix it.

OK. I'm trying the file swap first. There's one file with a bgm.bctsm that does work and if replacing doesn't work, I'll try without, and if not, send it to you.

edit: OK the main problem theme works ok now. It was the file. Just got to check one other nonworking theme....yup, it installed ok too. Thanks for the help.

I'd like to install my custom themes I made, but I'm on 8.1 emunand and when i click the corner button, it only has brightness in it. I cant set the basic themes required to install the custom themes?

Is there any way I can install themes in my emunand 3ds through CHMM.cia in an 8.1 USA firmware?

Themes did not get added until 9.0.

Yes, unfortunately. Are you unable to use 9.x emunand? I've never used emunand so I don't know exactly how it works.

I do, because my friend told me to make 2 emunands: linked and unlinked. Unfortunately, the 9.X i have cant play GBA roms, which i use often. If i install themes thru my 9.X emunand, would it stay if i take it out when i u se my 8.1 emunand?
