Well, I have two MKDS roms: one with all tracks online, and the other without, and I use both(don't ask why), but I want them to have the same save file. So, I was wondering if this method should work:

1. Put MKDS(patched) and MKDS rom on MiniSD
2. Take the save file of the patched rom, and put it on the card.
3. Turn autosave off.
4. Play the normal MKDS rom
5. Turn off, and turn on DS and go to M3 menu
6. Back-up the save from the SRAM to the MKDS(patched) save file

Should this work? i don't want to do something wrong and mess up my M3 or save files, so I thought I'd see if anyone had tried this before or already knew if it should work or not.

If you specific the name of the original Rom to the name of the patched Rom it should work.

path and name has to be the same. Best option would be to use the built in save manager from m3's game manager by right clicking on the rom and to load the save you need. Then it does everything for you automatically.
