Any chance of making a 3DS version?

Yeah, a 3DS version would be great too! xD

You really are a nintard....

LOL! :D
, just my opinion, Wii U isn't selling very well, PS4 it is selling very well, so it doesn't need this game, and I hate when a people (not you) doesn't understand what is capable Wii U, I know PS4 and Xbox One are far better than Wii U in RAM,GPU, CPU, etc , don't misinterpret me.

DirtyMangle This looks like it could be fun, and I'll definitely try out the demo and buy the full version if I like it.
The eShop (and the Wii U in general) is in sore need of more games worth buying,

One thing is the graphics could use some improvement. They look decent, just not very professional. While the most important thing is that the game is fun to play, I think more people would be attracted by professional-looking graphics. However, there's probably not much that can be done about this without bringing in another guy to do the graphics. If you'll consider it, might I suggest Forstride? He makes pretty professional looking stuff and has done graphics for one paid game already that I know of. I give him a lot of shit about his graphics but all in all he does a fine job. I'm just critical :P

Considering your enthusiasm and it being a metroidvania style game I will probably buy it. The appearance reminds me of maplestory or gaia online's zomg. You are a single person dev right? and how did you get approved by Nintendo? I wouldn't mind seeing if it's possible in my future one day.
No previous programming experience is required to become a licensed developer and get access to the web framework and Unity SDK. You do however need to buy a rather expensive dev unit but there is a 180 day grace period where you can return it free of charge and a down-payment plan where you just have to pay the full amount of around $2000 (for a "normal" unit) or around $3000 (for a debugger unit required for the Unity SDK) within a year, so it's possible for a hobbyist to afford it as long as they can set aside $200-$300 a month for the downpayment.

If you think you have the skills to make a game people will want to buy, then there's nothing stopping you from at least giving it a shot. You have 180 days to make an attempt before deciding whether to pay for and keep the unit or return it free of charge. :)

It's like you want him to fail.

Look, the game is good, he can do all he wants with he game, he say it will launch in anothers dispositives like Phones tablets, etc, and it will be ONLY for Wii U console thanks for the gamepad, the others console it can't be lunched because it doesn't have a pad like Wii U, and I don't want him fail with the game, I hope it sells well.
God, I don't know why some people are misinterpret me... u.u

Because asking a small developer to release their game exclusively on a poorly selling platforming is like a depth sentence?

If anything you should encourage him to develop for every platform possible as to maximize publicity and sales.

Well, I didn't think that... anyway, Wii U needs more exclusive games to elevate the sales, now I think, the others consoles have a second screen option... the Xbox SmartGlass, or the Remote play, OK , I could get Nintendo fanboy some times...

Not motion control, you control the hero with the touch-screen but you could also control him with the left analog stick :)

Your first post doesn't convey that.
Controlling with just swiping sounds very smartphone-ish. That's not unique ... it sucks.

Your unique aspect is controlling the character with the left analog stick and swiping the screen. I can see using both as really natural. Just swiping probably sucks.

I know someone that went through the process of becoming an indie developer for Nintendo, and from what I know, it doesn't take much to become one. It's rather simple. You just need the funds to actually be able to support their pricing, as well as one impressive piece of software you've written to submit with your application.

This game looks rather interesting, it might be something I'd be interested in. I'll probably download a demo of it and see for myself. Thing is, you have the ball completely in your court this time around, seeing as before, blood in a Nintendo game was almost unheard of, but now, there's FPS games, zombie games, etc etc. You shouldn't have to worry too much until the ESRB gives you a rating.

Don't launch it in others consoles, keep Wii U exclusive to elevate the sales!

This would be the case if what he were releasing was an already popular game with hype, which isn't so he can't afford to go exclusive for now. It's in his best interest that he releases in as many devices as possible.

You got me with "Metroidvania" Looks very promising!

When do you plan to release it?

"Metroidvania" would be a much cooler and catchy title than "Swipe Knight" definitely. :P

Have you played Rayman Legends on the Wii U? The game has a lot of swiping and it works perfectly because it's a Wii U game at heart so when it's designed to do what it should, then it functions properly.

Although, for crap like Kinect that had Steel Battallion that was absolute trash, then again Kinect was never accurate or good for games this deep.

Is Rayman Legends on the Wii U swipe ONLY ?

Did the new Kinect improve accuracy ?
Accuracy is everything.

Only the Murphy segments did and those sections were just shit.

(I played it on the Vita).
