I wonder if one of these would work. Also comes in a black variety. I have no money to test it right now.
Here is a YouTube review.

I have been looking online at this very same controller and have been wondering the same thing, IMHO these would probably be a really good option for hid controllers (if you prefere a gamecube controller)

r48 seems unstable and has undone whatever progress i made in getting all my stuff to work lol. Sent me back to the Wii U menu when booting up Mario Kart, Double Dash.

Could you be more specific, what progress has been undone that you've done so far? Delete all the config files and backup the saves to another location, delete those and start again.

I will try, though I'm not sure what the hell is going on. I will try to be as specific as possible following this.

Used the latest revision to replace whatever I had on my SD (when I was trying on May 2, 2014)
This would send me back to the main menu
I attempted to replace the controller_ps3.ini with the one found on github. I just copied and pasted it.
Realizing that I should have renamed the file controller.ini, I do this. It still doesn't work.
I download r0 from crediar, and of course, I forgot that this did not have USB support (I think, maybe)
After replacing all the files, including my controller.ini with the one found in the RAR,
After realizing what a stupid mistake I made, I got r47. Same result. What??
I realize that I had the April 30th release (not sure which revision, sorry) still on my computer, so I get that and put it back on.
For whatever reason, it does not work, yet..it has booted the game before; my controller was non-responsive.
It did prompt me for a controller on May 2, so once it knew something was there...the game loaded up (no prompt asking for controller). So we can conclude that nintendont recognized the controller but not entirely.

UNLESS...I am supposed to have controller.ini on the HDD. I think this is the solution. Wow, typing it out really helped I think. I will try this now.

Needless to say, I'm pretty frustrated. Where would be a good point to start off? Should I format everything? Which files should I get?

Don't format, not needed. You need the controller config file in the root of the SD/HDD, named controller.ini, the other config files must be deleted to prevent issues, but new ones will be made when loading it up.

The controller.ini goes in the root of the device where you have the games, so if you're using an HDD to store them, then yes, you have to have it there. Remember to disable HID in nintendont settings as you're using a WiiU, and it would help that you check with HIDTestv6 that your controller.ini is correctly configured (The HIDTest reads the controller.ini from the root of the device where the dol is, I clarify this because some people like to have the homebrew in the sd)

If I disable HID, will I be one step closer to multiplayer support? Or it not possible in any form at this point?

Only Original Wii with GC ports support Multiplayer right now.

HID or human interface device is what gets USB controllers working, you want to turn that off?

The WiiU enables it on its own so it has to be disabled in Nintendont settings. That's been mentioned long ago, not sure if it's in the first post as well.

That's what the instructions above me said. I tried them and deleted the cfg files. Still getting sent back to the main menu. I unplug my Y cable at the bottom port as soon as the gamelist shows up upon selection USB to plug in my DS3 controller.

Still getting sent back =/

Don't you have an extension cable to plug it in the front ports and get power from there? Maybe the HDD isn't getting enough power because you unplug it to connect the controller.

Does it happen with every game you try?

I will revert to my first approach. I thought unplugging the Y cable at the bottom would be viable as per the instruction on the first page but I guess not.

My first approach is that my PVR happens to have a USB port. So it gets messy but it got me to the stage I was at last time.

I don't know if it's viable or not, but Cyan added that instruction to the post so it might work for some people. But personally, I like to play it safe and make sure that the HDD has a constant power supply.

ppl that are saying that ssbm and sunshine freeze on r48, fix94 and etheboss played those games for a good amount of time and they were saving and working great , if you guys are having problems its on your end, it might be your SD/Usb or something because even i played those games and i never got a freeze on r48 so if 3 ppl on 3 diferent consoles play those games without any t has to be on your end.

Anyone saying to delete the saves, dont delete them why would deleting a working save would make a new one work? i never deleted any saves and i have like 30 saves and they all work great ever since the individual 2mb MCemu.

yes fix94 even spent like 5 minutest going back and foward to make sure the mcemu was working since 48 was essentially a fix on mcemu for ssbm and sunshine we tested this 2 games for awile, fix gathered 3 or 4 shines on sunshine and played ssbm to make sure they worked

Also on a diferent note i added two working games to the compat list incase anyone wants to play them they work well

Dinotopia: The Sunstone Odyssey works flawlessly imo
Die Hard: Vendetta has some minor issues read the descrition i made on the compat list

I've been trying to get the WiiU Pro Controller to work with the Mayflash USB adapter. I've been using the controller.ini from the Nintendont SVN. All the buttons seem to work except start, and Y and B seem to be switched. Also the L and R triggers register on and off repeately when pressed. When I hold R down it acts like I'm repeatedly tapping it.

When I used HIDTest, the offset and value for the Start(+) button appear to be 3, 02 (it's hard to tell because the numbers flicker on my tv so they're very hard to read). I changed the values for start in the controller.ini to 3, 02 and now when I try to play a game it's like the start button registers repeatedly every 1-2 seconds when I'm not even pressing it. Any ideas about what could be wrong? Is there a way to make L and R work properly? I know that the analog function isn't possible, but how can I get the triggers to stay pressed when I hold them down?

Does it depend on the game? So far I've tried Luigi's Mansion, Double Dash, and Melee.

Also I've been testing with 1.39

It also happens to me .

i'm using wiiu, nintendont 1.47,hdd 320g,wiiu pro controller and Mayflash USB adapter, the controller.ini from the Nintendont SVN. All the buttons register on and off repeatly when pressed, whatever i hold any button down (including the CStickX and CStickY) , it acts I'm repeatedly tapping it .

so i used HIDTest V6, when i press one button on my wiiu pro controller , it's hard to tell the number appear to change to what number, because the numbers flicker on my tv so they're very hard to read, when i use ps3 controller testing with HIDTest V6 it's return to normal, and the ps3 controller is used with no issue.

i'm sure my mayflash adapter is not in turbo mode, i'm sure about that. and i also press home button twice within half a second ,but nothing happens, All the buttons still register on and off repeatly when pressed, whatever i hold any button down (including the CStickX and CStickY) , it acts I'm repeatedly tapping it . I can't get any buttons or triggers to stay pressed when I hold them down.

so please hlep me , it's not an issue only happen to me , anyone can use the wiiupro controller with mayflash adapter ? i really don't think so ...

Just convert your file's line endings to CRLF (\r\n, carriage return/line feed). UNIX line endings don't have the carriage return (\r)

Thanks - but this should probably be a proper fix, rather than ensuring that hidden control chars are correct in a text file. Removes the possibility of file issues.

I've just tested the altered code and it works correctly with UNIX and WINDOWS files (probably because the last char of a line is an LF in both types).

Looking at the commit comments, the change to add \r was for debug code, so I guess a global find/replace, followed by a quick glance at the code is probably the reason this sneaked in.

Now, if this was GIT i would put in a pull request, but not sure what to do for SVN. Guess I need JoostinOnline to review and commit this for me..
