Your reading comprehension is really poor. Nobody is saying that in the future, new flashcarts will be using the same exploit, but rather that new exploits might be found.
It's not like there's only one vulnerability in all of the "3ds world". I'd check your facts. You don't know what you're talking about.
One can find an exploit in any new firmware. They're not 'firmware specific'. Once found, one can 'create' (so to speak) the 'exploit' and whatnot. That's when it's patched. As long as there are people looking into it, there will always be chance for an exploit.
And when a new exploit shows up, Gateway may make their cart compatible with it. We have no understanding of how the blue cart works as of yet.
Someone here said that others teams will look into Gateway and developp it. Specifically. I added that it was not possible since it has been closed. If something new come around in one year, it won't be based on the already outdated Gateway and its removed exploit.

We have no idea what the blue cart does. Maybe the blue cart takes advantage of the exploit - THIS means, that if another exploit is found, a SOFTWARE patch can be implemented into the blue cart, to allow the Gateway cart to work via the new exploit.
But that's all speculations, as, again, nobody here knows how the cart works.
And how would looking into an older exploit harm the development of a newer one? Last time I checked you are neither working for nintendo nor gateway thus you have no information on the nature of the exploit. Your speculations are cute but instead of spouting aggressive nonsense just sit down and wait if you have nothing of value to contribute.

You are also assuming that its impossible to develop a new exploit based on the old one. Although its rather unlikely its not completely out of the question.
It might be best to just ignore the dude now. He obviously has issues with grasping this concept.

I'm hoping Smash will work with it, as well as Pokemon and Zelda once those games release! Who knows what the blue cart is for? Maybe it uses the exploit in some form, and maybe, if another exploit is ever found, it can do the same and use that exploit! That'd be quite interesting!

Well, ever since the original Gateway 3DS topic got closed out of nowhere, new topics about Gateway have been appearing almost daily.
Of course, this could have been prevented. I proposed (back on the original Gateway topic), that the discussions were diverting from the original point. As such, a new thread should be created regarding any and all Gateway 3DS assumptions and hardware discussions.
No one agreed to do that. Now we have a mess.
