anything i do with this site or gaming is to make money

i dont care about all this seeing who can piss farther type of talk it does not make me money so its a waste of time

i went to sleep early last night and didnt mess with wii u

i was at dentist all day today root canal and had to get a tooth pulled which is still bleeding, im on pain medicine, and not feeling like messing with the wii u right now

its been in my room unopened for almost a week, i dont play video games much its just something to learn how to mod and advertise the service, if i cared about video games i would have at least played it a week ago when i got it

It seems like you're not here to engage with the community, or generally contribute anything. Hell, you won't even contribute basic manners or follow common forum etiquette.
What's interesting is that you say that you're all about making money. I might be mistaken, but isn't one of the key rules of business to remain professional and not burn bridges? Your behavior here is likely going to result in the people who are knowledgeable enough to assist you ignoring you.

well there are always more than 1 way to look at things

you know how many parents show up with their kids and i make them happy

if you want to look at things the way you do then go ahead eveyone is entiled to their own opinion

as far as people and community and all that i dont care, i gave up on trying to fit in to forums over a decade ago

i just start a new account, i dont care, im not trying to make a name, this is not a game to me just information one way or another and one web site or another

as far as your statement about the dentist and karma, your taxes pay for my disabillty check every month, and the free $16,000 worth of dental work im getting

so i want to personaly say thank you for working for me

oh wait i remember why i stopped doing that 10 years ago, its because i have better things to do with a computer like post ads that make me money

1. You didn't include the version/revision number in the link. Telling "it's the latest" is a bad practice, what will happen when a user find your link in two weeks? "yeah, the latest!" which will not be the latest. (but, ok, it's included in your readme, so it's half good I guess).
2. You didn't compile the correct loader's binary (there's a HBC version and a Channel version, they are working differently).in fact you didn't compile at all, you only used the beta dol provided by developers, right?
3. Installing the HBC version inside a full channel is wrong and will provoke what you are trying to avoid : Users will complain that the loader is not working correctly.

You know sometimes developers release beta releases which are NOT meant for end users and are NOT auto-downloaded inside the loader to prevent users complaining that the loader doesn't work anymore.

its not just beta, sometimes they totaly change alot of things, paths for images and other things

one loader might not work with some hard drives like it did with 99% of other hard drives after a new version

coders are not perfect gods or something sometimes shit happens

im talking about over a period of time of several years

i have made sure not to use beta's i got alot of my boot dols from here, http://code.google.com/p/usbloader-gui/downloads/list

but even if it says its not a beta it doesnt mean i trust it

only after months of no problems do i trust a loader no matter what anyone says

and you can make extra folder in apps, like wiiflow 2, or wiimc 2, that way updates will use wiiflow or wiimc folder i created and left blank before the customer paid me, the old wiiflow 2 and wiimc 2 folders will be unchanged and stay working, i have done this with about half of the apps in my apps folders for years after customers going to the howmebrew browser and updated the emulatore and other stuff, and it works they always have at least 1 working copy and also leaves them a way to get the fix for a newer update that might actualy work

if i use a wad for a loader and i dont want customers to be able to update the loader then having no folder named wiiflow or usbloadergx in apps folder blocks them from updating by clicking update in the loader menu

beta or 100,000 testers and the makers praising the best release , i dont care it has to be what is best for me and the hard drives and the way i want to use it

ok, all very valid points but no need to try and act so negative towards me, so im not perfect i was just trying to help. besides i have tested on both a wiiu & wii & my channel works perfect. ive tried 5 different types of external hd even hitachi & no issues what so ever. themes work perfect & ive tried over 100 wii games.
when i have tried using the non beta wad it had alot of bugs like the start & settings buttons not showing when a game is selected. thats the only reason im using the latest beta r1209.
If people want to wait for an official channel more power to them but i make my own & never have one problem. & since noone else has provided one i did but since noone seems to care to be considerate in saying no thanks & just want to complain than fine i wont share & im sorry for wasting anyones time.

1 time a prison guard told all the other prison guards about me i think she brought me over 20 customers

some modders put modded systems in businesses like barber shops and leave them there no charge just make sure they display their contact info close by

i think years ago when i first was learning to use a computer i thought it was something to be proud of i guess and probably went through a short phase like you are in now

You can use the beta 1209 if you want, I didn't say that it shouldn't be used at all.
What I meant is that the full channel version shouldn't be created using the HBC dol, you need to create the full channel dol.
if you inject the HBC dol into the channel, two features won't work: Reset the application (it will try to load the dol instead of the channel) and update the loader (it will update the dol instead of the channel). in both case, it could load a different version than the user is expecting.

you can extract the full channel 3.0, replace the nanloader and repack the wad. that way it's a correct channel to provide to other users.
If you pack the wrong binary in the wad and provide it without informing the users that internal update is broken, it's what could lead to more problem when the next version is released and they will complain that it's not updating.
If you provide the hbc dol inside the full channel, add in your readme that they will have to update their channel manually as the internal update is disabled in that version (according they read the file, but it's their fault then).

you should look up the cases about piracy before you think i would ever be on the ice radar

i also sold to houston police several times my neighbor parks his HPD car about 5 feet from where i do the transactions, and most of the time its customers with little children 5 to 12 years old, im sure i look like such a bad person

what do you not understand about some people just are not that good with computers they just looking for a good deal for their kids on craigslist

me being a craigslister for years i have seen so many times any thing i do get copied by every modder in houston, i would not care it is free software for all of us but other modders on craigslist dont feel that way and flag competitiors ads like it is a sport

when i first started on craigslist another modder flagged every ad i made for months and i almost gave up

im glad that there are people here help other people and places like this is the only reason i was able to be a part of this hobby

but sometimes money make the world go around even in modding

looks at the r4 sdhc 3ds cards , people are saying they have a dsi 1.4.5 / 3ds 4.5 fix for their cards but are not releasing the pacth only putting the patch on new cards and of course this results in more cards being sold and more money

ps3 and the downgrading hardware $$$

xbox and rgh hardware and other hardware for mods $$$

i will be suprised if wii u wont need some kind of hardware that will have to be bought

either way i dont care, i will be glad to pay its just how this game works

The vast majority of this scene believes that these mods and hacks should be free, and these forums exist because the methods involved aren't always simple "1-2-3 done" processes. If you want to do nothing but make money off of other people's hard work, no one can legally stop you (you're invincible to the police too, I see :rolleyes:

) but don't expect too many folks to bend over backwards to help your cause.

i dont expect some of the people on forums like what i do and some dont care

if i ever get in a bind and really need help its not that difficult to pretend my name is john doe and im new to this hobby

but im here because im bored i can get by 99% of the time with out even becoming a member of a site, i can get by just reading i dont need to ask questions and i ushally dont

alot of the people dont like what i do that is why i ushally dont post, but i am in a bit of a down time slump cant seem to get motivated

i have a ps3 i put cfw on it years ago and stopped messing with ps3 until a month ago i bought a slim ps3 it was a demo kiosk ps3 so i had to use a converter pup to make it retail , i bought a e3 card reader, i started watching youtube video's and i was already to downgrade my slim ps3 and put cfw on it but after paying 3 different places for the e3 flasher and they never shipped it, it took me 2 months to get a e3 flasher, i got the e3 flasher now i have had it for 10 days or so but i lost interest in downgrading my ps3 because all the bullshit the sellers of the e3 flasher put me thru

i got a wii u sitting in my room im sure i can mod it and set up game loaders , i just dont care

not many people calling or texting me from craigslist the past few weeks

im only motivated when people are wanting services and right now it is slow

something that has always amazed me is that when people want my services it always always happens in many people at once

i could have no customers call for weeks then all of the sudden 10 customers will show up in a few hours, it is strange i have seen it so many times

maybe when enough of you tell me how much you dont like what i do then i wont come back

by the way i see downgraded ps3 going for high dollar on ebay, i could be making money right now buying ps3's and downgrading them and selling them on ebay, no custom firmware nothing ileagal at all just selling 3.55 official firmware ps3 after i drowngrade them and ebay would be happy i was doing it

6 months ago i bought a rework station and everything else needed to reflow and reball ps3 and xbox gpu and cpu chips learned everything i need to know, i reballed a few broke ps3 and xbox i bought off ebay

i thought i was going to make money doing this but i just lost interest

its dealing with customers sometimes customers are looking to scam sellers on ebay and craigslist
and it just didnt seem worth it anymore after seeing what i have to go through

its difficult for a person trying to make money in this hobby, its easy for some to think im wrong for doing what i do, but there are always two sides to a story
