Need an opinion on name for channel.

Hello everybody,

I have been discussing with my friends whom I commentate with on YouTube about the name of our channel which is ''dookyook.'' Now they don't really like it but I think it is just fine and the name shouldn't matter and it is about the content we put on the channel. They were suggesting to have the name ''BabySasquatch.'' Which one do you guys think is better and please be honest.

Umm, you should pick a name that describes the content you bring to your viewers. Dookyook to me sounds like you bring them crap. I also think BabySasquatch has nothing to do with the content you bring to the table so that would be a no. In fact, I hate both of those names TBH.

Well we aren't the only ones that have a random name like dookyook or BabySasquatch. There are channels that have names such as RoosterTeeth or UberHaxorNova which are random and provide good content.

Those axceptions to the rule. When you can put an unusual name to the content it makes it easier for someone to remember what it is. RoosterTeeth only did Red vs. Blue if I recall correctly. I generally ignore the random named channels who bring in random content. Guys like AKSpartanKiller or RayWilliamJohnson have steady but random content, they also have been there since Youtube started. Like I said, you should pick a name to describe your content. I remember a user here a while back that named their channel DCGStudios. It made no sense, but they brought cinematic content hence the "studios" part. It's up to you, but based on your name I'd probably just skip over your channel if I ever saw it.

Sure thing. I suppose as long at the content is good the name shouldn't matter much.

Why not a name like RPGRussia (Kind of like FPS Russia, see?) No? Alright...

Depending on your content, you could do different names. Like if you focus on older games or mostly platformers you could call it FlagpoleJumper, or if you focus on RPGs, it could be MithrilHelmet or CriticalMiss. FPSs...maybe something like ArmyOfWon

just mix it up based on the content.
