Gaming who thinks nintendo should return to: pokemon trading card gam

just looking throught some old games and i liked the pokemon trading card game. who thinks nintendo should made a new HG/SS version of this game with newer graphics next to every pokemon card(maybe with DSI even read cards to unlock new ones like in viva pinata for xbox360). its quite a unique game and for me holds a place over them u gi oh games, never really liekd that franchise thought it was kinda gay.

anyway would be awsome to get a new trading card game for DS. a gmae that relys on skill and a bit of luck(getting a good deck shuffle)

yu gi oh isnt gay... i liked the gba yu gi oh wc games but when they started with the ds they made those 3d mob animations and all i somehow destroys the feeling,
i liked it how u could make a digital copy of your deck and play

i still got a box set somewhere lying about, about £50 worth, not sure if anyone would buy these things now, got load of duel master cards awell

Yes, the game was fun as hell. I'm not sure it would work with all the cards out now, though.

As much as i like(d) Yu-Gi-Oh, before the whole Bike thing that is, i would love to see a new Pokemon Trading Card Game on the DS.

I'd rather a magic the gathering DS game, but i'm fine with Yugioh.

YES

I'm a big trading card fan. I LOVE Magic the Gathering. Outside of being an avid Star Trek fan it's the nerdiest thing I do. The Pokemon TCG isn't as good as MtG (nothing really is, MtG is THE trading card game), but it was still great. It's a shame they didn't make a third game (there was a second TCG game released in Japan; there's a small translation for it floating around). I played the hell out of the original. I beat every single trainer, got every single card, everything.

As for Yu-Gi-Oh, it's actually a surprisingly solid TCG. It's not nearly as intricate as Magic, but it borrows a lot from it. Not to mention it's the only good TCG that's made in video game form frequently. Magic hardly gets any video games. There was the one in like '98, a Dreamcast game, and some shitty RTS game. Duels of the Planeswalkers is the most recent iteration and it's quite good (I have it on my Xbox).

There's also Culdcept out there, if you guys are looking for a decent card game type thing. The translation for the DS is pretty good.

I'd love to see a Pokemon trading card game on the DS lol, I really enjoyed the BGC one... but I never really actually played the card game only failed at collecting them lol... I once had an original Charazard, that was my highlight haha

yeah, i loved TCG 1, but the language barrier in TCG 2 sucked. too bad they didnt localize it.
