ok, a day later here is where i am at, made a nand using Sinyk's 2nd method (first one cause some messages in simple dump fs like -114) using bootmii extracted it, loaded 514 .wad's (using showmiiwads) in it put all the folders in a folder called nand it in my fat32 partition, loaded up triiforce auto usb with HBC, it says it cannot find it and ops to go back to HBC. so then i took all the extracted nand folders out of the nand folder in the root of the hdd and placed the folders directly in the hdd root. same problem.

i do not know what i am doing wrong any more, Sinyk's guide was ment for SD cards but i thought i adpted it correctly for the usb hdd, maybe not.

could i be missing a cios, i have 202 222 223 249 and 250? (the hole cios thing is still new to me)

1) put standard SD card into front SD slot - NOT SDHC

2 Run simpleFSdump v0.2 (WILL dump nand FS to standard SD) and wait for it to complete.

3) copy folders 'import'. 'meta', 'shared1', 'shared2', 'sys', 'ticket', 'title', 'tmp' from SD to root of 1st fat32 partition on usb drive (ensure that fat32 partition is marked active so that Triiforce can definitely find it).

4) create folder 'triiforce_mrc' in root of SD card and copy all *.png files that you may have as covers for the wad games that you own.

5) put triiforce v7 auto usb dol into either sd:\app\triiforce or usb:\apps\triiforce folder and make sure it is renamed to 'boot.dol'

6) run 'show MiiWads' and install your wad games to your newly created usb nand dump.

7) run HBC

8) choose triiforce

9) Select wad game and play!

10) to quit game hit 'home' then 'Reset'.

From Windows Disk Management, if you right click the partition it is the third option from the top - 'Mark Partition as Active'

If I overwrite the nand file with a new backup from bootmii do I have to reinstall each wad?

Do I lose the saved game process from my wads?

(Wii 4.2E, v7 triiforce_mrc, rev14 ios249, ios56.)

Switching "Normal boot method" to "Load apploader" doesnt seems to work properly (it saves the change to the config file, but not running in this mode as expected).
Tried on "Pokemon rumble Pal"
does this option work generally properly in mrc??

Dont have this problem with original v7 triiforce

original v7 : normal boot method = gives a blackscreen
with second option its running fine

v7 triiforce_mrc : both options with the same effect (blackscreen)

thanks

i get that error I can't get title list. ) please help me!!!!
In my experience, if you are using USB-nand the FAT partition should be active in order to be detected by triiforce (mrc or original).

I've created an image pack for all 84 US NES VC games using their original box art. In order to make the boxes fit the dimensions properly I've rotated each box counter clock wise. I've left two of the Famicom imports (Dig Dug and Ninja JaJaMaru-kun) in their original format.

Hi there,

I have been followig the scene for some time now and have found all of the advice and guides given on GBATemp to have been invaluable, I have a small request as I do not have the know how to do this myself otherwise I would and then post on here to share.

I have searched all over this site, google and many other Wii hacking forums and have not found a channel wad for triiforce mrc that loads from the SD card only from USB, I did find an auto sd load .dol file but would like to launch triiiforce mrc from the normal system menu and then for the games on my SD card to load

If someone could please please find it in their hearts to do this I would be enternally gratefull!!!!!!!

james, use a forwarder. The official forwarder is located here: http://www.mediafire.com/?m3jgxgnjcw5

MAKE SURE your triiforce boot.dol is in the folder SD:\apps\triiforce. Most of the time when the forwarder does not work, people have it in a folder named triiforce_mrc instead.

I never thought of my auto sd loader as unofficial, but I guess it is!

Thank you very much myspacee and Sinyk for your help, I have just tried it with the auto sd .dol and the forwarder you provided and it works perfectly.

I love the way that people help each other on here and provide solutions to problems when asked

Thanks again and I am enternally gratefull to you both!!!!

Could anyone be so kind and explain to me how hard it would be to set the cover art sizes larger. I am making wiiware covers that look like the wii cases but after i re-size them they look to tiny. Maybe have 2 rows with 2 covers? I am learning to program and am willing to do the work myself but if anyone could at least point me in the right direction on what code I would need to edit? Thank you for anyone who responds.

This is a GUI mod of the original Triiforce. This one can display covers. Triiforce itself is a nand emulator. You can make a back up of your wii nand and install wiiware and vc wads on your sd or hdd instead of wasting the limited internal space. I highly recommend this wonderful piece of homebrew
