THIS GAME WORKS ON ALL WII VERSIONS IF YOU DO WHAT MUST BE DONE. SIMPLE AS 1 + 2, JUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.

I agree that the topic has been covered MANY times. But as I said in my first post, I created this because I wanted the poll data. Replies to this topic I don't care for.

I have a pre-patched, scrubbed ISO of NSMBWii, it's PAL (obviously, but I'm sure that not mentioning it may cause confusion later on). I dumped the file to my 100 GB WBFS partition on my Western Digital My Book external HDD. I've successfully gotten it to run by applying an anti-002 patch (which may be unnecessary, but I don't feel like changing it because why fix what ain't broke?

), and forcing it to be NTSC. In certain other loaders, it will load but they've lacked the forced NTSC and I get the black/white flickering of PAL game on an NTSC TV. Oh, and my system is a Wanikoko firmware updated 4.0U

And no, I've never hardmodded my system, all software.

I seriously can not believe I can't get it working. I mean, I've got it working though USB loader GX but not from the Disc Channel with my Wiikey.

Anyone else having issues with the Wiikey? I'm not complaining or asking for help, I just very curious as to what's happening.

I patched the game correctly because it's working in USB Loader GX (whereas, before I patched it I got the "An error has occured... blah").

I'm on 4.2E, official update.
Trucha signed IOS70 and IOS53 v5406.
Wiikey, 1.9s.

What happens is, is that it resets back to the Wii menu. As if missing an IOS??

I've got the latest IOS55. I guess I might trucha that, aswell...?

So, anyone else having Wiikey problems?

you have it working so why the obsession to get it working from a disc?!

I'm on 4.2E and it works running unpatched through neogamma with my original wasabi chip (v1/v2/v3).

you have it working so why the obsession to get it working from a disc?!

Because a mate of mine wanted to get it working. He hasn't got a HDD but has a Wiikey.

I'm just interested. I'm gonna give up now, though. Looks like he can't play it. Gonna buy it today, anyways.
