Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days - Appearing at World Hobby Fair '09 [8th Jan 2009]

Although the drought of major Kingdom Hearts news continues, Square Enix announced today that they will be attending this years World Hobby Fair '09 tour.

Present at the event will be both a Demo & Trailer of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days for the Nintendo DS.

In anticipation of the event, Square Enix have launched a Mini-Site detailing all the information you need to know, if you plan on attending any of the stops.

The event will start on January 18th at the Kyosera Dome in Osaka, Japan. It will then move the following week to the Makuhari Messi convention center in Tokyo (January 24/25th), with the Nagoya Dome in Nagoya after (February 1st), and lastly the Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome in Fukuoka on February 8th.

Does this demo means a playable demo that can be found as a rom too ?

Unless someone was able to get the game from the demo kiosk, there will be no dump of that demo.

I highly doubt someone is going to steal a copy of the demo.

but how... why should you buy demos... you can t download from internet (without flashcard)
so IF theres an demo that would be for flashcards but i dont think squire wants to do that

Yeah, SE (and many, many other companies) have had demos on display at shows, but those demos never show up on the Web. I highly doubt we'll see this, either. Someone who worked for SE would probably have to steal the actual ROM out of one of the display DSes, and considering the tight leash they keep on that stuff, I doubt it would ever happen. They might call `em "booth babes," but "booth security" is probably a more accurate term.

The only ones I've seen are from demo carts that you'd see in a Gamestop or EB, but something from a trade show? I can't think of one, really.

OMG didnt think of ds download station.... !
if this game will be playable for us im going to be S0 happy

They REALLY have a reason to bring this demo out...
i think this game will be the best game of the ds but maybe thats just my opinion..
Anyway if they bring this demo out they will have like 20% more $ !!! (not that i care about THAT)

That would be cool if it made it to the DS Download Station, but there aren't many stores around me that supports it much anymore.

its not about the download station... its about if they place it to the download station then
you can download it as a rom too
they believe that they are promoting with the download station
but actually they are promoting with the rom everyone gets from :

squire enix ---> rom ---> download station ---> shops ---> pc ---> internet - downloads

still i dont want to get too excited about it .... cause then if they wont release it my hart will be broken more

THERE ISN'T GOING TO BE A DUMP.

Why would there be a dump? The demo was playable on previous events, and chances are it's the exact same demo. There are so many people waiting to play the demo, so the person who actually plays it is being watched by at least 30 people.

Plus I'm pretty sure there is always someone standing next to it, and I guess you can't move the DS, you know like they do in shops.. You probably can't even remove the card from slot-1 or insert a slot-2 card, and if you did, they would notice it on the screen (sometimes the DS is connected to a large screen). Most of the people going to these events are reporters (not sure if this is a public event) so it's not likely they are pirates.

Don't get me wrong, I would love an early dump for this game, but there were previous 358/2 demo's on events, and they never got dumped. (Actually, I never heard of any DS demo's from events to be dumped). I don't get why you are so excited about this specific event.. But please, prove me wrong and post a link to the demo when it's dumped, and get banned for about a year.

No we didn't. That was like over a year ago and there are tons of new screens and gameplay video's, and it looks amazing. KHinsider.com has alot of gameplay movies, but the site seems to be down at the moment. That youtube clip looked fake around a year ago, but the current demo's have even better graphics. This game is going to be awsome!
