Look, I think this is being blown way out of proportion. Its one thing to make the law, its another to enforce it.
Download games and stuff via direct download, or if you use Bittorrent, make sure you only use encrypted connections.
As for things like AMVs and other creative content being pulled down and creaters sued because of it, then the law should be amended or removed in it entirety.
And please note you are allowed one digital copy of physical media per device you "own".

Well personally I think that the Conservatives are wrong on adopting American views with this particular issue this bill does suck but I believe the reality of the issue is it won't be adopted nor will it pass, especially with the smell of an election in the air. But you know what I really find funny is everybody is quick to jump on the Conservatives and bash mr Harper over this but everyone quickly forgets how bad the Liberals are I mean really with the high rising fuel prices the Liberals want to introduce a Carbon Tax WTF!!!! As if the blue collar Canadians didn't have enough to pay for we apparently can afford another tax jesus everything is going up in price, but it's funny our wages are not going up to keep up with all of this? You know what I say when the election does come RIDE THE FENCE tell them you will vote for them have them on your side and take them for whatever you can get! Why not they do it to us time to stick it to them. Just remember when you fill out your ballot vote them all
