Suspension ≠ ban. NEXT!
My account has been suspended for over a year now, I would consider that to be a "ban." Considering there are countless accounts that have been permanently "suspended" for shit Elon doesn't like, I think it's safe to say there is no free speech on Twitter.
I might add, that I still don't know what I did to get suspended because they never emailed me.

Banning people permanently on any platform or service for speech that can be blocked by other members is authoritarian. You can't prevent a KKK member from purchasing a phone plan, likewise, if you can block them, they should be allowed on all platforms. I'm sick of people saying freedom of speech is freedom from speech, it's total copium.
Former salesperson here, I actually could prevent any sale for any reason. If someone came in with KKK gear, I would be fully allowed to deny that sale on the grounds that selling to someone who may use that product for terrorism is a legitimate reason to deny a sale. In fact, I had previously denied a sale to a family who were wearing sweaters that said "White Power around the world."
Free speech is only protected against government censorship. Private platforms, businesses, etc. are fully allowed to censor and remove content that they do not want. Additionally, "free speech" does not mean "free from consequences." You are free to say whatever you want, but that doesn't mean someone else needs to tolerate or platform it.
