Hi dear, I’m face issue with V1 (clarify board requires V1 flex). I’m running more than 80 installation on differents console and models and face this issue, just for this console.

It only allow me initialise on OFW for the first time, CFW works fine with Emmunand every time.
I well know that it’s not the sd card, nor the sysnand nor the the chip.
So I finally change the cpu flex V1, again, first time can move in OFW and second time stuck on second nintendo switch logo, By the way, the rest of functionalities works fine.

I’m desperate on this.

Pico FW 2.74
OFW 18.1.0 and latest Hekate and atmosphere versions as usual.
It's 100% your chip, are you using rp2040 picofly "core" from aliexpress ?

Nice work thx My first try.

impressive work as always carlos; I wasn't intending on giving any instructions for this method due to how little room for error there is with how the LED fits inside of the housing next to the solar sensor, but you were able to replicate it from one image. you are very skilled :yay:

as for the other placements, now that I seem to have resolved the joy-con detection issues with the home button mod by using a different joy-con pin to carry the data signal, I will probably be making a proper guide on how to do all of the mods in one post

On DAT0 and CMD did you put 100ohm?
Sorry I said pico, but it’s Hwfly. Where everything is sorted out.
So in fact after all commented, replacing the flex you see attached (create partition, create emmunand, go in OFW 1 time, and the next stuck on switch logo while no problem with the CFW Emmunand.
I tried today to use the chip on other console and works fine.
Blowing my mind.

Sometimes varies from device to device. With the rp2040/tiny, 47ohm resistors across clk, dat0 and cmd will work perfectly fine. Sometimes you need to add an extra resistor. But from what I've seen the resistors on those clones are the wrong value most of the time. Maybe try a regular waveshare rp2040/tiny?

Check the values of these 3 resistors.
Beat me to it

Sorry nephiel but it’s not about chip, double checked the same chip working with other consoles V1 too without issues.
Results can vary between consoles. Resistor values that are reported to work with most are 100/100/47 on DAT0/CMD/CLK.

the rp2040/tiny, 47ohm resistors across clk, dat0 and cmd
If you mean the Waveshare boards, the current RP2040 Tiny (v1.1) has 47ohms built-in on those three lines, so CLK doesn't need any extra but CMD and DAT0 might. The RP2040 Zero, on the other hand, does need all three. The Aliexpress knockoffs... who knows.

Hi, I'm with an oled which blinks **
I do not know what do to.. I have continuity on B point, good readings, I swapped the chip and nothing...

What do you advise me to check?

Ps: it's an oled, kamikazed, and I replaced the cmd resistor dunno if that matters?

Hello. I modded an OLED with the Instinct V6 chip (based on HWfly). I was getting some issues that led me to believe I need to replace the capacitors, and did so, but a pad was unfortunately removed for SP1. I decided to just take the caps off after I was having issues. I was getting a flashing yellow light after purple blinking. I then went into fix my DAT0 connection, as well as to fix any connection at the CPU that might have been there.

After that I get a white then purple then white flashing light. I was checking my diode voltages and everything looked right. I then removed the modchip just to make sure it still turned on, and it did not. There is 15V power, and only 200mA of current draw with the battery plugged in. I proceeded to check for any shorts everywhere, but could not find one anywhere.

I have no idea what happened. One second it was fine, the other it was bad. I did happen to unplug the battery in the middle of training/turning on. Could that have caused any of these issues? Thanks for any advice.

Thanks,

awg 30 wier... For soldring chip is there size small than 30 and can use it for fit on small point or when use it for point dat0 kimkaze. Is 0.02 mm magnate wier is not strong for voltage for point from chip to motherboard. Thanks. 👏
