Hi.. newbie here.. I just got a switch. Think it is V2. Im trying to learn about modchip and read about hwyfly and picochip. I saw lots of version selling in aliexpress. But I'm a bit confuse as there are few versions

1. There are 1 said Picofly Core with V1 and V2 cable
2. There are some said Picofly OLED Lite v2 on the board with 2 gold cables V2 emmc
3.There are some said Rp240-NS and the cables has NS-P and NS-x
4. Other that I could not find is the picofly zero with lots of wires soldering

What is the different between these different types of picofly. I saw most of the forum shows the pt 4 where there solders lots of wires.. is that better than those selling I. Aliexpress but more complex? What is the different between 1,2, and3? And are these not that good? Are those hwyfly or picofly?

The main difference is between the hwfly/nx-instinct clone chip and the original picofly (picture 3). With the first you'll get the different flexes needed for different versions of the Switch (V1, V2, Lite, OLED). It is more convenient to solder hence the flexes are designed at purpose. The quality depends on the seller you choose, you'll have to check the number of orders and the customers commentaries.
With the picofly, you won't have no flex so you'll have to solder wires to get connections, and you will also have to add SMD resistors to your connecting point plus mosfets to the cpu area. This solution is cheaper but you have to be very skilled at soldering to get a proper job.

Since you have a v2. Go with option 1 but used the v2 flex cable. V1 and v2 flex cables are not the same. Once you lay it on the apu you can tell which one you need by the matching holes on the flex cable to resistors on the apu. Make sure the flex cable is flat when you solder it to the resistors. You can tell if it is good connection by slighty pressing on the flex cable to see for any movement on the joint.
