So, I installed the HB App Store version of RetroArch, but when I tested it on Tiramisu, the TV just lost signal and the GamePad got stuck at a black screen, also tried on Aroma but same thing happened. Then I decided to download the Nightly version from the official RetroArch website and... same thing happened. I was searching everywhere, found a thread saying that you just need to remove the 50_hbl_installer.rpx module, but mine wasn't even there (I put back and still nothing happened); a thread saying that you just need to reinstall, but I already did that a few times; a thread saying that you need to load a smaller core, which also didn't work; etc. Until I decided to load it via Haxchi to see what happens... and somehow it worked! (tested with Mocha and it worked too!), then I updated all the assets, cores, configs etc.; which didn't fix the Tiramisu/Aroma issue, but it's good seeing at least working. Does anyone have any idea what's causing the problem and how can I fix it? Thanks! :D

It does sound strange for your TV to lose signal? I haven't heard of that before, black screen yes but not that.

Make sure your Tiramisu/Aroma is up to date, if your 50_hbl_installer wasnt present with the Tiramisu install that means your Tiramisu wasnt installed to sd card correctly because the file SHOULD be there, but you do need to rename it after tho :P

How are you loading Retroarch? on Tiramisu you should install the Retroarch Launcher, that's the best way to load it..

But really you should think about moving to Aroma that will be the defacto way to use Retroarch in the near future...

Both my Aroma and Tiramisu are up to date (everything is updated inside the Aroma Updater app and I installed the latest version of Tiramisu via the GitHub page), the 50_hbl_installer.rpx wasn't there because I removed it a while ago as I already had the HBL app installed. Also, Aroma is my main CFW, I just installed Tiramisu after to load some older homebrew.

I tried loading RetroArch through lots of means, on Tiramisu, inside the HBL and by using the RetroArch Launcher, and on Aroma by loading the retroarch.rpx app and by using the RetroArch Launcher, but nothing worked. While on Haxchi and Mocha, I tried the same means as Tiramisu and everything worked.

I'm thinking of maybe trying the Aroma cores to see if anything changes, at least on Aroma. Thanks for the answer tho :D

@ploggy So I got some good news! After installing the Aroma cores, it worked on Aroma :) (and it still works on Haxchi and Mocha!) but the same thing keeps happening with Tiramisu, my guess is that it is something to the retroarch.rpx file, as that is the file that boots RetroArch, but as I don't really use Tiramisu anymore, I consider being able to play it on Aroma a win :D

I got a question too, if I update the cores via RetroArch itself, will it update to the current Aroma cores or to the current Legacy cores?

EDIT: I used the Launcher and Tiramisu still doesn't work, so the problem maybe isn't retroarch.rpx (I'm not trying to find a fix to Tiramisu anymore, but in case anyone is, here's some info to help you)

I never use Retroarch.rpx.. ever :P I always use the Retroarch Launcher Channel, that Channel will then boot a random Core you have placed in the Core folder..

I'm very glad you managed to get the Aroma setup working tho.. that's where all the new updates will be going ;)
