I've almost completed all the shrine quests to get the horse motorcycle thing in Breath of the Wild DLC. Just one more shrine to go, but I keep dying where the spike wall is chasing me.
This is the best version of the game.

In my defence it was poisoning the water and fucking things up for all the other life forms.
Also Metroid Prime makes me feel much more guilty when Samus dies than the mainline games ever did.

I haven't started prime yet, never beat the game originally.
I never played it back in the day. Really enjoying the remaster tho, as a fan of the 2D games it's a different style of play with more focus on examining stuff, but it turns out I like it, and it still feels like Metroid. Would recommend.
I like the prime series more than the 2d ones, same with Mario and zelda.
It's a close run thing for me with Metroid so far, like I said I'm really enjoying Prime, but I'd still put the 2D games as my favourite at this point. Will have to see how I feel once I've played all 3 (or eventually 4) main Prime games.
Mario is a comfortable win for the 3D games for me too. Zelda I was focused on playing the 2D games first, but have now been playing a lot of BOTW, but haven't properly played the other 3D games yet so the jury is still out. Big fan of the classic ALTTP/Link's Awakening era, also big fan of BOTW.
I've just 100%'d Majora's Mask 3D (with Project Restoration's patch applied of course). All of Bomber's Notebook, all bottles, all heart pieces, all Great Fairies items, all of it.
I can see you're enjoying that game. I got to the water seal and beat it in tales of symphonia. I love that seal song. I'm saved in the next town, not really knowing where to go. I think I might be lost, because the name of the town is wrong from what they mentioned earlier in the game.Got Ball Boost and Space Jump!Apparently I'm at 23% completion.
Update on this. Went ahead and got all the damn P ranks and chef tasks/achievements.
Final boss took me like 2 hours to do it hitless, ugh. Still wanna play the game more, lol.
I just got to the human ranch in Asgard in tales of Symphonia. the original issues with the game, I don't even notice anymore. I'm playing the better of the two, the ps4 version, though, where loading only seems to be a problem or the extreme zoom in for no reason, while running around on the overworld.. anyway, I'm cooking away. I spent almost all of my money on food ingredients earlier today, trying to master every recipe I've learned with everyone. two or three people have them all learned completely out of a party of five. I'm assuming there's some sort of cooking trophy, but I haven't looked up trophies, not to spoil it.
I can now fly in symphonia. no idea where to go next (not using a guide), but according a friend, I've missed something that's missable. fuck...

I just got 1st place in the All Cup Tour on Double Dash. Which is an accomplishment I guess, but all that did was unlock Mirror Mode so now I have to do it all over again before I finally unlock the Parade Car.
Finished my first ever Star Ocean (First Departure). Left me kinda divided on opinion. It's rare to see a broad skill system - even if it makes the system that much easier to "play". On the other hand, the system was pretty much fluff and excluding melee/magic skills not that necessary. Main story was ok, but not good enough for replay or getting the different endings.
That all said, revelation for me that producer of sub-mediocre Final Fantasies can create a playable and enjoyable RPG. (Well there's Xenosaga too...)

Finally beat Zelda 2!
Lot of good stuff in this game, but even more frustration.
Now I can finally move on to ALTTP, which I've played a good amount before but never finished iirc. Gonna play the Switch port.
