Hacking Updating firmware for F-card?

I checked the FAQs, but it only says how to do it with an N-card.
Since the F-card doesn't use the Slot-2 and it doesn't have an USB-mode, I don't want to update it without knowing how to do it as I'm afraid that I might brick it.

Please tell me how to update the firmware and xmenu on the F-card.
 
What are benefits of fcard over acekard menu ?

You will need to use the 'auto' update method which is in the form of an .nds file that you copy to the card and run like a rom.

The manual update which comes with a batch (.bat) method wont work.
 
there may be an easier way.. if the firmware is on the same udisk version you can just copy the files and overwrite. no format required
