Hacking Will backup loaders eventually be able to play Wii Sports Resort easie

I just use the .003 Gamma with Error 02 fix backup loader and play my games from burned DVDs.

The instructions to play Wii Sports Resort involving all kinds of steps is slightly too complicated for me (AKA I'm too lazy to attempt to do all that.)

Do you think around the time the US version of the game comes out, backup loaders that play burned DVDs will be able to play Wii Sports Resort without having to do all the complicated wiiscrubber save file alternative dol etc. etc. etc. steps you need to do currently?

'cuz that'd be nice ;D.

I agree, and also hope that the top backuploaders include something to recognise the title and auto apply the appropriate fix.

I advise to use Neogamma, it's just like Backup Launcher 0.3 gamma but with more features...

Choppiness only happens if you are running it from a disk. Sounds like you are using DVDrs with no modchip!

To run new games expect to use new tech when "Hacking". Move into the 21st century and invest in a USB loader.

The following is the easy way to run Wii Sports Resort Jap' on a U System.

First System setup:

4.0U system via wonkokos>? method
cIOS38_rev13b yes B
USB Loader GX r566
Set all USB load settings to system default

Wii Sports Resort Setup:
dl or extract the .dol everyone is talking about
place in root of sd card
in game settings turn on: alt .dol & anti 002
load game
watch Video
restart Wii after it returns u to Menu
go back to game settings and turn off alt .dol

Now have fun!

I think I got it all

Game will load every time!

O.K. This does work from back up disc's ( allways good to keep a back up of your games )

EASY GUIDE 101

Use a copy of WIISCRUBBER . find one that comes with key

run wiiscrubber and open your WSR ISO

Go into partition1/sys/mpls_movie/ and extract the player.dol file and rename it to RZTJ.dol

Open up your SD card and put RZTJ.dol in to your NEOGAMMA file

Run NEOGAMMA and set options to 002 FIX on and ALT DOL on

Load game and spend the next 5 minites watching the 3 movies ( if you can call them that )

After the movies the game resets

Run NEOGAMMA again and keep 002 FIX on and turn ALT DOL off

THis worked for me 100%

none of this information is by me , Im just trying to make it as easy as it is.
If you dont have any of the programs then just google

Or if you use Neogamma R6 Just set Alt Dol from disc, read the Player.dol,watch the video, then after wii restarts run the game normally.

.....okay can someoone tell me what my problem is since everyone seems to make this out like it is an easy process

note:I have bricked my Wii on trying to get this game to work

Anyway here it goes...I have a ntsc-u wii with firmware 3.2u with cIOSCORP installed and Starfall so that I can be region free, I have watched the movie and it is saved on my wii. But I haven't seen one person that has had the problem I am having. When I boot the game I see it in the disk channel and then I open it and it goes to safety warning and then it gives me an error in kanji....no its not a .002 error or a .001 error its just an error that says kanji...................WII...........more kanji...so I was thinking it was a burn error so I reburned it 2 more times in total (6).......all burned at 4x speed also tried 2 times before with a different download from another source to the same result.......dont think its the iso because on both copies i could run the retarded WII Motion Plus videos....and before anyone asks, the method i use works with EVERY other game i have so it's not the method. After I finish typing this I plan to try this neogamma r6 tho....tried backup loader and neogamma up to version r4 to no avail even used geckoOs lol.....this game just confuses the living crap out of me to why it wont work......my last option is to go out and buy a 139-199$ USB HDD, but for the love of god I dont wanna have to do that....already spent 100$ so far JUST trying to get ONE game to work between Wii repair cost and dvdr costs xD

Edit: forgot to add my cIOS version....i tried cIOS rev10 and rev13 same results

And how did you manage to brick your wii by playing a game ?.......

use neogamma R6 , and it should be good

LoL did you even think before you wrote that.....for one it didnt say .002 (since you dont seem to know....numbers are universal in any language that and i have seen a pic of the .002 error) for two cIOSCORP CANT have .00 errors and for 3 I have tried with .002 error fix and still same error

How did I manage to brick my wii...long story

I will shorten it down to saying I tried every method outside of usb loader (because I dont have usb hdd) ended up corrupting the system files from a IOS60 patcher and accidently uninstalled the ISO60 (the operating system of 4.0 (didnt know that then. I know it now...I dont use 4.0 anymore anyway) and of course without a boot IOS...means full brick. Costed me 85$ but since I live right down the street from NESA (the place ppl in my part of Canada have to send their broken Nintendo system to to be repaired (thank god for living in Scarborough)) it only took 2 hours to get done Instead of having to send it in and wait for 1-2 weeks I got it same day....lol not like they did any work on it. They just gave me another Wii.

if it's just to play this game , buy a 4Gb usb stick and you are good. (i'm even sure that 2Gb is enough)

Or simply do what we tell you : neogamma R6

But you seem to do things that you don't understand at all (like "accidently" lol deleting an IOS , how is it possible to do that)
and cIOSCORP is the most crappy thing of the wii scene. maybe all your problems come from here.

If i were you , i would update to 4.0 using waninkoko updater ( http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=144835 ) , and then i would install neogamma and usbloaderGX for example.

With these 2 loaders you can run each and every game on wii.

PS : oh , and first of all , install bootmii or preloader in order to avoid "accidently" bricking your wii

Ummm thanks for the info....I was wondering if USB Loader would boot from a usb stick......but you just sound retarded....how the hell am I gonna boot a 4.3gb game off a 2gb usb stick rofl....and 4.0 is total crap it was only released to patch piracy, WiiSpeak and add the usb boot option for wiiware game and virtual consoles...not worth updating to.......lol and NEWS FLASH......YOU DONT NEED 4.0 FOR EITHERONE OF THOSE APPS.... pls dont talk to me like a noob.....I know a little about what I am doing did similar with ps2 psp and xbox....or ATLEAST KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU TRY TO NOOBIFY ME and NOTHING outside of cIOSCORP is 100%, and have to be remade everytime there is a new game or new piracy tactic, those apps are for ppl that dont want to risk bricking their Wiis, when the process has a VERY low chance of bricking your Wii.......and I do understand things that I am doing ...just not the Wii's IOS system...and by your rant you know shit all about anything you are talking about.

Edit: and tried neogamma r6 and does the same thing neogamma r4 did but the auto diskstop addition is a good touch.

well , do you know what is WBFS ?
and do you know that once you put your iso on a WBFS partition it is automatically scrubbed ?
wii sport resorts is less than 2Gb when put on a WBFS partition.
and your usb stick MUST me format to WBFS to use with a usbloader.
