Are there any Wii games left to translate? What would you like to see!

I considered both of them for a while, but they were officially localized and released on other systems, so a solution to play them already existed.

(PS : I'm actually not sure 428 plays with the pointer on the Wii, if anyone could confirm or refute?)
Oh, I did not realize they had English releases on other systems. Never mind, then...

I will try 428 on the Wii and see what controls it has.

Nevermind, it arrived by mail yesterday (found it for less than 20 bucks, so translated or not, I had to add it to my collection :)).

Turns out the game plays with the remote, but doesn't use the pointer (basically it's like using a gamepad, except vertically) : you use the cross to navigate in texts when you want to highlight some important elements, and press UP or DOWN for choices.

Therefore, I can confirm a translation for 428 is not needed anymore : I compared it with the Steam version (which outputs HD videos), and apart from a personal preference for Wiimote (or the fact that the videos might look a bit "amateurish" now that they're in HD), there's really no reason to turn to the Japanese Wii version.

They actually did a wonderful job by translating this one, since things like the opening credits are in English as well ! (something a hacker might have left untouched, as video editing requires other skills) : I can't recommend this version enough, even if I'd have liked an option to play with the mouse.

Have a nice day.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes would be pretty neat. I know it may seem redundant because of the existence of Ultimate All Stars, but there's still a considerable amount of exclusive content in it not present in UAS (such as Hakushon Daimao, the minigames, animated endings, etc) that would still make it worth the effort. Plus, it is possible that the script for things such as the win quotes and endings may have been changed significantly between the two versions.

Speaking of Capcom, maybe Monster Hunter G as well? IIRC, the PS2 version already has a translation, but the Wii version changed quite a bit to make it play closer to the second-generation games as well as adding in things such as Poggies and gathering quests.

Naruto Shippuden Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special is a japanese exclusive that should also be mentioned (not exactly the same game as CONRevolution 3). There was an old patch to translate basically the menus but it doesn't work quite right with riivolution.

It'd be cool to navigate Jikkyou Powerful Major League 2009 easier. MLB Power Pros was highly regarded for how short it lasted. American teams and players makes this game a better prospect than the (practically insurmountably annual) rest of the series.

Maybe we could insert English roms into the Dragon Quest 25th anniversary trilogy?

Milestone Shooting Collection 2 is an interesting choice. Half the games are already translated in Ultimate Shooting Collection.

I know it will never happen in a million years, but since I bought a Wii primarily for exergaming, I'd love to see English translations of the menus for these two. The first actually is voiced in English since the instructor is American (Billy Blanks). The title was supposed to be released by Ubisoft in America but it was developed at a time when Ubi decided that they'd only release Just Dance for Wii from now on. But here are the two I wish I had English menus:

I can take a look at it if you can send me a screenshot of the filesystem

I would be interested in seeing any of the Taiko no Tatsujin Wii games translated to English. They're all pretty easy to navigate the menus and play songs, but it would be fun to actually know what's going on in the story mode lol.

someone made a translation for the 3ds TnT games, and they were pretty nice

I was looking into that but sadly I don't quite currently know how to edit the .iso/.wbfs contents correctly and efficiently

Thank you for your answer, I'll finish this good game and will play again when maybe one day it will be possible to read the text.

If I had my choice, I'd love to see Jawa translated. I messed around with it on Dolphin a little bit and something about the minimalism of the art style really piqued my interest. It seems like a pretty unique game.

i did saw a fan-translation of monster hunter g at one point in youtube but i have yet to fully test it myself.

and yeah i'd love to see a translation of TvC - CGoH someday in the future too, the mini-games, soundtrack, anime cutscenes and hakushon daimao are so fun..

I have played through Takt of Magic. Only the menu has been translated. It´s a great game.
Hello,

I just wanna say the Takt of Magic translation patch you've tried is an old one released by Rebirth999 years ago (let him be praised for that).

Since then, I've released a complete translation patch for the game, which you can download here : https://www.romhacking.net/translations/5756/

By the way, same goes with Zangeki No Reginleiv, which Rebirth999 had started to translate, but never finished (translating a whole game is very time-consuming) : https://www.romhacking.net/translations/6025/

That´s amazing. Have you ever played either of them online? I wish I had.

Inazuma Eleven Go Strikers 2013 is very high up my list of wanted Wii games. There are a few half-done translations out there but nothing even close to complete.
