nice.
i think i gonna try it out right now.
i want to have both, because sx can mount xci from ext hdd and with ams i can use mission control and other plugins.
but it would be nice to merge the two cfw somehow to support 14.00 and to support all of the ams plugins.

It should work with both, it used to but haven't used it for ages cause I don't have a switch anymore

Appreciate your work! You don’t happen to have the original artwork sitting around do you?

nice.

Very cool…one thing to note is that you need to use all the files included for this one. I couldn’t get it to boot if when I ”rolled my own.”

It would but there’s reasons it won’t. :-)

Mine is (recently upgrade AMS and old SXOS) dual boot for the same reason. Absolutely love to have the options!

Here‘s some boot pr0n while you work (thanks to @Jonoxley and @NSX)

Yep unfortunately it only runs on 11.0.0 and 11.0.1

PSA the only way to ”run” 11.0.1 is to copy 11.0.0 files into an 11.0.1 install…essentially replacing it with 11.0.0 but leaving the 11.0.1 version number in place. Cute trick but it doesn’t allow you to run games that require a real 11.0.1 install. We don’t want folks thinking they can “upgrade” their switch beyond 11.0.0.

So I got the sxos launcher to load but it keeps saying the license.dat file on my sdcard is invalid for my switch console no matter how many times I try to generate a license based off my license-request file. How do I fix this?

Lol? Bullshit. Sx os doesn't work on higher firmwares. Doesn't matter if you use emuMMC or sysMMC. And by the way, sx os also doesn't work on 11.0.1 ;)
nobody said that SXOS was working on 14.1.0, you should re-read the previous messages...try by yourself, or listen to people who already did this (and it works nicely) :
  • you can use SXOS on a 11.0.0 emuMMC, even if your sysMMC is on 14.1.0 (as stated by @Chaosta )
  • you can add 11.0.1 compatibility to SXOS, by tweaking/injecting some files
Yes, this CFW is dead, but you can stick your switch to an 11.0.0 firmware (sysMMC or emuMMC) to keep SXOS alive, even if it becomes more and more hard to play recent games

I'll add a bit of clarification here.

Updating the sysNAND on Erista (v1) consoles will never break SX emuNAND. Updating sysNAND on Mariko/Lite(v2) consoles to 12.0.2 or above will break SX emuNAND.

If you have a Mariko/Lite on firmware 12.0.2 or above you can only use Hekate/Atmosphere emuMMC, Erista's are unaffected.

Users have figured out you can inject a few files into SX so it's on 11.0.1 but nothing else ever came from it. It's not incorrect information.

Video of 11.0.1 running on SX OS.
Lol? SX OS doesn't work with 11.0.1. The reason is simple. SX OS boots because the BCPKG2 partition is FW11.0.0. Otherwise it would stay in blackscreen. However, the system files (SYSTEM partition) are still on FW11.0.1, so it also shows FW11.0.1 in the menu.

You see, the console is still on 11.0.0. The console is thus rather on "Pseudo 11.0.1".

But Triangle Triforce Trifecta Triple Triad (that tactics game) doesn't work on SX so the internet agreed it's now shit, right?
