I got that too. But I would like that get going and I can't. It keeps telling me it couldn't install the software when I run the installer from HBmenu and then I have an empty icon with spinner inside

EDIT: I loaded fusee as payload and right away it worked.

Ok, went through with it, but I now have 2 problems. 1. Games (physical carts) are saying they need updates, and having taken the precaution of disconnecting from WiFi, how do I do this, also why does this happen? They don't need updates when booting normally.
Also, panes will not show any games even though they are in the correct folder.

Hi, first of all sorry 4 my enligh i will try my best.

The problem is.. last day i was with my atmosphere switch trying to install a new game with goldleaf + quark, my pc cant recognice my switch so i decided to reinstall drivers etc.. 30 min later my switch turn off and since this day cant do nothing with it.

If they don't need updates when booting normally, then how are you booting that they do need updates? Also, what panels and what folder?
TegraRCMGui odesnt detect my switch is this cuz I updated it I bought it in 2017 So its hackable
Being able to detect if a console is in RCM or not has absolutely nothing to do with firmware. Even patched and Mariko units can enter RCM. There is something wrong with either your computer, USB cable, or port.

Which drivers did you reinstall? I'd also recommend using TegraRCMSmash instead. You can download it from here and learn how to use it here. Its what TegraRCMGUI is based off of so it works better since its the original.

Hi im trying to run caffeine with pegascape on 3.0.0 and all the time i have the error 2207-0248... And when i try the hb menu i have error 2162-0002 when i launch the album.. i dont know what the problem is

Does anyone have any answers regarding this issue?

I know that I was in eMMC. The switch had been laying unused a few days and drained all of its battery. I put it in its charger, and a day later the screen was still black. It turned on by holding one of the VOLUME buttons, as well as the power button. Now I get the errors described in the quoted post.

I'm thinking maybe it didn't like shutting down while the SD card was "actively" in use from running eMMC, or something. I'm guessing I would just have to wipe the card and start from scratch. But I'm hoping that wouldn't be necessary.

If anything, just getting access to HEKATE would at least let me setup an eMMC again.

Not sure I understand the question, When I boot the switch normally, Mario Kart for example, will load fine when I select it, it's fully updated and was before starting this whole process.
If I boot TergaRcmGui using hekate, system version shows 13.2.0|AMS 1.2.5|E, when I click the mario kart icon (physical cart) I get 'A software update is required. Update data will be downloaded now.'
I don't see why it should need an update.

Regarding the psnes issue, It's pSnes 4.3, I copies some roms to /switch/psnes/roms they are .sfc format. When I load up
psnes the left panel has a list of every single game (that I don't have) but if I hit the menu button and select 'available' then every panel is empty.

I have also read about holding 'R' when loading a game to load the hb menu with more RAM available.... can't do this, no games will load at all, I just get the update message.

Is your SD card formatted as exFAT? Also the Switch uses an eMMC so you don't "setup eMMC" because that is how the console normally loads.
@Draxzelex
I reinstalled tegrarcm driver and zadig libusbk too, yes i tried tegrarcmsmash and same problem...
Try using other USB ports and/or cables. Also make sure that you are turning off the console each time you're sending a payload because you cannot send another payload after immediately sending one; it needs to be booted back into RCM. You can turn off the console by performing a manual shutdown (i.e. holding the power button for 15 seconds).

Well I initially didn't understand your question because you didn't mention you were using emuMMC or psnes (you typed "panes" so I assumed you meant panels). Anyway while emuMMC is a copy of the sysMMC, its only a copy of the internal files. The external files are not copied automatically and need to be reconfigured accordingly. The update data for all your games is most likely in your Nintendo folder which isn't the same one that your emuMMC is reading; by default, it reads its own Nintendo folder which you can find in the emummc folder. From here, you have 2 options:
  1. Copy and paste the Nintendo folder that sysMMC uses on the root to replace the one that emuMMC is using inside the emummc folder
  2. Change the emummc.ini file to read the same Nintendo folder that sysMMC uses on the root of the SD card
Option 1 is going to end up taking more space on your SD card but allows you to ensure that sysMMC and emuMMC each have their own set of games. If you don't want that and/or the extra space for having double the Nintendo folders, you can go with option 2. As for psnes, unfortunately I have no experience using it. You ma have better luck asking the psnes thread.

Thankyou for the info, I'll go with option 1 i think, plenty of space on the sd card B-) an apologies for the typo, no doubt that was confusing :-D
