has anyone created a playlist for retroarch 1.8.9? tried here it creates the ai when I put it on the PC is all corrupted, in 1.8.7 it creates perfectly

retroarch 1.8.9 create playlist error

I make all my playlists on PC then I send them over. I do it this way for all my consoles as its way faster. All you need to do is find the paths. Also, change retroarch from app to game in Xbox menu.

second: Are there only 3 video drivers available xbox one?
3rd: Is there a cheat sheet on which to choose for which emulator?
something like:
Sony-Playstation-Beetle -- GL
Nintendo- Mupen64-plus-next -- D3D11
etc

Gl is not supported on X1.
T3 and Autechre (maybe Dominator01 too) are busy making it compatible with D3D11.

yes theres only 3 and gl isnt supported officially on xbox one and the only reason it exists is cuz we implemented ANGLE which emulates the video driver

all cores included work on the xbox one

Hey guys, when trying to enter DEV mode, it tells me I need to update my Xbox when there's no update available for download.
I'm on Skip Ahead Insider program.
Anyone have a solution?

Fixed it by initialising but I can't seem to find the latest build for Xbox, link is down.

Sometimes when i try to open retroarch my xbox gives me the error "For some reason RetroArch took too long to start. (0x8027025a)".
i have to try many times before it launches
it's just me?

Do you know what was the attack on Retroarch platform? Is all developing data gone or just simple repos?

Im planing to get back to retroarch for xbox one after some time... Latest version i played was 1.8.x can someone update me? I have some questions regarding 1.9 version:

- Can ps1 games be run from usb? Is there limit how many ps1 isos i can run? In past retroarch on xbone has 4gb limit is it still a thing? (after 4gb limit i must delete game from retroarch folder to run another)

- How's the dreamcast emulation? I watched on Youtube that Flycast core works fine...

- Can i play Mario party games in decent fps? (gamecube ones)

- Yes , personally I run all my PS1 games from USB.
- Yes , the limit is still there unfortunately due to development size/space.
- Latest xbox update ffff up the dev mode , won't work unless you use the old method of LB/RB/LT/RT
- Dreamcast works fine as long as you got all bios files
- Mario GC runs using dolphine if i remember correctly but haven't tested FPS , come on mate it's not 3080Ti to test FPS on it....lol

Hey Man thanks for info. Today i tried to run dev mode and as You said IT wont boot.. please tell more about old method im mit familiar with it. How to make dev mode work again?

goto settings then system then console info then press lb rb lt rt and a option should show up developer settings. Go into that and activate dev mode is the first option

Today i managed to run retroarch by lb rb lt rt method. After run of gamecube game i cant play another, i think its because od retroarch limit. As far i remember by running via usb retroarch makes copy of the game, when limit is reached we have to delete copy to make space for another game. Where copies are located? Can i delete them via file manager or i must use Xbox device portal on pc? Another thing is scan option seems that its broken for me or its just not work for games on usb stick...

try switching the video driver to d3d11
