Hello, I have the following problem.

I've updated to FW 10.1.0, Atmosphere 0.14.1 + its Fusee Primary, and sigpatches 2.0.0-10.1.0 (from this post). When trying to install any of the recent NSPs (such as Paper Mario or 51 Worldwide Games), I get: on Goldleaf 0.7.2 a "Key generation mismatch (console's firmware is too low) (8)" error, and on Lithium 4.10 I get a "failed to read NSP metadata" error.

I'm wondering if I'm missing something of if I've messed up at some point. Any ideas about this?

Even if you think you've done these steps, perform these steps as a matter of troubleshooting. Even if you think you already downloaded something, redownload it.
  1. Make sure the SD card is FAT32.
  2. Remove all CFW files/folders from your SD card (that would be folders like /sept/ and /atmosphere/)
  3. Download the latest Atmosphere
  4. Download the latest fusee-primary (next to Atmosphere)
  5. Download these signature patches (for Atmosphere v0.14.1)
  6. Put Atmosphere and the signature patches onto your SD card
  7. Put the SD into your Switch
  8. Enter RCM
  9. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary
If it still doesn't work, try blawar's Tinfoil.

Stop using old software.

Thanks, dude! That was the problem, I didn't realize about newer versions of these apps, lol. *facepalm*

It's an amazing checklist. I would add "10. Make sure your apps are on their latest versions". Thank you too :)

(Please mark as solved)
