Use something from the Panasonic exc24 range. 2nH is the rated inductance on them. They work fine for the pi3usb multiplexer/switch in the erm... Switch! (See what I did there ). You will probably want something with higher current capacity though.

I'll get up to speed on other threads soon. Thank you for bearing me in mind. I've not had chance to do much at all. Hardly any parts... Hardly any post... Our local sorting office is closed half of the week now. It's like being on a desert island. Except without the desert, without the sun and with dog shit all over the pavements.

Oh yeah we are in self isolation too. I've had a "cold"...
Thanks for the tip! Hope you feel better soon buddy, and all this pandemic stuff rolls on by so we can all get back to stuffing das blinkenlights in our consoles.

@mattytrog hope you and your family are well after your cold?

I have a question regarding samd21 chip + Fusee_Suite + sx os loader.

Because of covid 19 I have time to switch to emunand on sx os.

Sx os loader is always booting into emunand itself when not pressing vol+ at boot.like it did before with cfw without emunand.

Now I want to force the sx os menu without holding any button because of CAF and WAF.

Without permanent mod chip installed just don't plug sx dongle and don't enter rcm mode and you are on stock firmware.

How do I achieve this with permanent mod chip + fusee suite installed?
Or in other words how can I force the sx os boot menu?

Another question, is it 100% safe to use the mod chip without autorcm?
(Because i want to have as less traces of CFW when booting OFW)

Thx

With SX you cannot bypass the verification of the license when you inject the payload, therefore you always need to press the + key to start the SX boot menu. Finally, Nintendo cannot know about the presence of the chip on your console.

already solved this with hekate in between fusee_suite and sx os payload. Working as expected and i have a nice menu of hekate which i can add more boot options.

So the only question is:

If all I want is to inject Hekate with a Trinket M0 (don't want auto RCM or anything else really), what would that setup look like? Straps to solder, parts to flash, etc. Thank you.

Sure it does!
When you have soldered the correct straps it will enter RCM for you and push payload.
So it*s a complete solution.

Just press short the power button and boot what ever payload you want automatically (hekate, ...)

so I realised when making a NAND back up that auto rcm was on, so I disabled it. and rebooted. and I got taken to official firmware. but as far as I know all the straps are fitted correctly. and joy con strap is detected. so why is it not forcing me into rcm and in turn the CFW? I have the Vol + strap button too.

cheers. thought it be better to ask for a simple fix rather than warming up the Iron.

Thanks for the response, do you have any idea why my battery charge would max out at 80% after this?

I just tried to use https://github.com/mattytrog/MODCHIP_LATEST/blob/master/RCM-X86/Part_1_RCMX86_PERMA_CFW_Latest.uf2 to ensure I have installed perma-CFW and instaled the new RCM_X86.UF2 part 2 from https://gbatemp.net/threads/trinket...software-new-fusee_suite-uf2-packages.553998/

and it changed nothing yet sadly :/

I have Vol + and rcm streamline fitted? anyone got any ideas before I strip the thing down? cheers :):)

Hi, first of all thanks for the grat work. I recently updated to the fusee suite newest version and it seems like hekate is booting a lot slower... After selecting the bootoption within hekate (CFW - Emu) it lasts nearly 20sec in Hekate bootscreen before switching to sept. With switchboot it felt a lot faster. Is there some other possibility that is causing this? I opened the switch and added Joycon,USB and Vol+ straps. Rest of the console is working normaly.

Doesnt seem to be a soldering problem because Chip is working as expected... AutoRCM via Chip is working.
