Still can't get it to work, so here's two more suggestions:
- please create a completely new script in Python or something so that it's platform agnostic and I (we) can run it on an operating system where I (we) actually know what's what;
- if that isn't an option, someone please make ready-made (PAL) injects available somewhere. I (we) will be forever in your debt.
Oh, wew, unbelievable, I double-checked the original out of spite, and what do you know, the problem is indeed caused by a bug in the fork, and not in the original, which works fine as intended. What I thought was a fluke was probably me testing out the original, then switching back over to the fork.I want to help you, but it's a little hard to write this without my personal opinion getting in the way. You said it yourself that games under 1gb converts just fine and no one else has this problem, so whatever is going on is seems to be on your end. For now, please hold off on telling developers to fix stuff that only happens to you.
Now, you said that you are using a modded version of the Injector right?, Why not try the original and see if the issue does or does not happen with that? Any reason why you are using a fork in the first place?

It's just the link from OP that i posted here. Also, you do seem to know what you are talking about, so I don't want to sound condemning, but 4GB of RAM is NOT alot for a modern system, and if you are having trouble specifically with games over 1GB large, I'd imagine there's a connection there.
Guys, can I ask for a little help please?
I'm trying to make a forwarder for Mario Kart 64 on vWii. The game works fine on vWii with Classic controller connected, and also when saying 'no' to using the Wii U gamepad and booting through the forwarder (using the classic controller again) I've made with the Teconmoon injector. But when I say 'yes' to using the Wii U gamepad, the game tells me the Classic controller needs to be connected.
Is there something else I need to do? I've made the forwarder with the correct title ID and installed it, and then installed the WAD on the vWii.

The reason I was using the fork is because it has a decent amount of fixes and improvements over the original and it isn't abandoned, I mentioned it mostly to inform people that there's a version that works a little bit better, because it seems no one had noticed its existence yet. Unfortunately, it seems like it has a big, nasty bug in it as well.
That being said, considering the original author abandoned this project and has the following to say about it: "SUPER CRAPPY SOURCE CODE (...) OH MAN IT'S SO BAD", I think it's safe to say that a Wii U enthusiast with programming skills and some spare time on their hands (and who doesn't, these days?) would be able to do the community a great service by creating a new injector script that's much more efficient (i.e. doesn't make half a dozen identical copies of your games) and can run on any OS. I have no clue how Windows works, so whenever I have to use a Windows machine for something and there's a problem, I have no idea what I can do to fix it.
Either way, thanks again!
Hey there! Long time user of the forum, first time signing up to post and interact. Happy to be here!
I've come in hopes of some help, as I see most people on here have, haha.
I have both Wii and GameCube VC injections. The games are all installed onto a 1TB hard drive with wall power and auto sleep is turned off. I have CBHC installed and it boots into CFW automatically at boot-up. I've found that my Wii injections will only launch about half the time and only if I'm holding down Y on the Gamepad for whatever reason.
Any ideas how to resolve this?
I'm trying to inject Project M by following this tutorial https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-super-smash-bros-project-m-wii-u-edition.550776/page-1 but the problem is that when it finished converting to a wup instead of being 7/8 gigs the file would only be 8.5 Mb.
I tried a different sd card, tried a different game, deleted and reinstalled the game, deleted nintendont and reinstalled it, and I still can’t get gamecube games to boot up, what should I do?
That's the strange part. They just go to black, I see my TV temporarily change the resolution to 480p to accommodate, then it resets to 1080p, I hear the Wii U boot up again and it starts up the Wii U as if turned off and back on.Hello there. Glad to have have you aboard XD
That does sound like a strange problem. I've got a few questions.
To get us started, what happens when your Wii Injections don't launch? Do you get a black screen or do you get some kind of error message?
What Region is your Console and does the games match that region? Eg. PAL version for EU Console or NTSC version for US Console?
Just a theory I want to confirm: Do the Wii Injections always work after boot and always fails if you try to launch another Wii Title after already playing and exiting another Wii Title?
