Yeah the link Draxzelex posted states you can't use it, but I'm confident I did when I updated last. There may be misinformation there...

I'll give it a go anyway. Despite no games needing 9.2.0 I'd like it to be up to date with atmo 10.5.

You were not using ChoiDujour in that case. Its stated right here that ChoiDujour does not support any firmware past 6.1

I've only ever used downloaded Sys Firmwares and the ChoiDuJour.nro app. Never used the PC version of the app or required a 'keys.txt' either. Strange.

ChoiDujour doesn't come as a .NRO file. It is a Windows application for converting firmware files to flashable files. The GitHub page explains that here.

That says ChoiDujourNX, not ChoiDujour.

Also, I've just put the files for Atmo 10.5 on my SD card, but it's showing in the settings as 9.4 still. Very strange, I wonder why. Don't want to update until I know 10.5 is running as it works for firmware 9.2.0!

Its 0.10.5, not 10.5. And whenever I update my CFW, I always remove the old CFW files then place the new ones on my SD card.

Yeah sorry about that, I just shortened it ahaha thankfully it's working and updated now . I didn't do anything differently but for some reason the second time through it worked and made 0.10.5 functional.

EDIT: Now I have a warning for corrupted data when trying to start a game. How strange. I have checked for errors as prompted and it came back with 'the micro SD Card is corrupted...

Now I really need help hahaha!

So I just modded and got into Hekate.
But with my current sd build I cannot boot since I used the modifies tinfoil atmosphere:

Im guessing that my system version 9.0.0 is to low, and that I need to get to 9.2.0. But is it possible for me now after Iv done this to update officialy withouth getting a ban? All iv done is pushing the payload and put in the SD.

I did do some updates as my cfw and tinfoil were supper old.
My tinfoil version was 5.1 to 8.1. Atmosphere was 9.01 or so to 10.5
After doing these updates I got a message cfw not supported. It had a message about atmosphere nand write blocks.


My firmware is one the older offical fw think was 9.01 does this matter?
I did it officially right before the dogs with weapons came out.

Or should i just download this fork that they talk about ?
Having to do this because someone wants to play local game with family who own a recent game so I need to make game patches match.

There is always a chance of getting banned when bringing a hacked console online.

Try using Awoo-Installer as it is an evolution of Tinfoil.

So Iv gotten Tinfoil installed. But when I try starting it it says "ready to start system update".
Is this safe to update? Im currently on 9.0.0.
I know its compatible, just dont want to be banned. Im unsure if updating by tinfoil is different somehow?

Or is it better to boot in to normal mode and just do a normal system update there?

Sheesh dude. But shit happens. The devs said already not to use exfat. I don't hope that all your data is lost.

No, it is fat32 as I said, not exfat. Updating Atmosphere again for the 2nd time in a week, seemed to fix it with no issue. Just had to go into settings and do the corruption check and then the effected titles were fine again. It also was in fact a real sandisk card, not a fake.

Afaik LAN play also works with banned consoles.

Still on the way to understand how works the switch.

Because I wanted some new game (alien touryst), i put my switch to last 9.2 with choidujourNx and last Kosmos.

and that's happen :
-alien and touryst run good but I got some troubles with metro 2033 or theme hospital for exemple :
error 2002-4518 (0x234C02), Nca not valide. 4518

And also some old game run good, as skyrim, but another as LM3 and some another say data corrupt.


I wanted to install with quark (I did it before), but now, goldleaf on switch crash when I want to explore from USB.

I put Kosmos patches 3/2/2020

I get a very small HDD on my computer (256gb), so when a game is install, I erease the NSP

I've just installed Let's Sing NSP, want to connect phone to sing with friends. It says it have to be in same wifi (checked) and account have to be linked (obviously cannot make it on hacked console).

Is there a way to make it work?
