Gbarunner2 seems running fine now I remember you post saying need to work with gimp art which I did lot of images lol so it is different now??

Sound works again for these three games in experimental release commit 01d0668 from 2020/01/01.
This also goes for International Karate Plus.

@Gericom I have Pokemon Emerald (USA) but it does not start, it stays black (if I do not have the GBA logo activated) or soft (if activated) This is in the latest version.

It requires the rom 3M branch for ds.

I forgot to answer the question why it was not in master. The thing is that I'm not sure what the impact is of a smaller rom cache on the performance of other games.
