Hardware Switch NAND upgrade

Hi guys
Replaced the 128gb emmc module last week

I'm also ordering 256 modules.

For me being the first time I try a nand upgrade, i first tested with a 32Gb SanDisk eMMC. Now that I have succeeded and everything is ok, i will order 128 GB.

Does anyone here know how to patch the FS.kip like Canna mentioned or is that unnecessary and we just have to disable error reporting services? Thanks in advance!

Iirc, samsungs 1tb is bga 153. The same goes for their 512gb, which was already done by someone.

the switch doesnt use bga 153 does it?

EDIT: the switch uses EMMC and these chips you mention use UFS whos to say it will work even if they use the same socket. Something else may need to be modified elsewhere

Thanks to @pascoej for his guide and @blawar for all his work and Nandpart and to all of the Switch hacking community, I did my nand updgrade today.....

....and it makes me happy .

Have you guys using your upgraded nand units online without getting banned so far, or heard anything about bans reports for upgraded nand ?

Would you happen to have the source or details for this? Was the person running CFW in conjunction with the upgraded NAND or was it only the upgraded NAND? Did (s)he disable error reporting?
