Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny works graphically perfectly from what i saw, it launches with a red background tho.
Its slow, choppy and has audio issues from the choppyness, but it runs just like a regular ppsspp on a bad android phone

(this on default settings)

can anyone explain why he uploaded the links to an irc channel now its basically lost forever. very stupid, this is why we use mega. waste of a thread at this point and should just be removed rather then creating witch hunts for a emulator that isnt online anymore

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

super old bump but anyone that actally wants the emulator sinces the links are broken.

What are you talking about? The link to the last build in the first post (called "next") is still functional.

I do agree with all of the concepts you have introduced in your post. They’re really convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are very brief for starters. May you please extend them a little from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.

Star Wars Battlefront 2: Menus load fine, however loading a map crashes about 15% loaded.
GTA: Chinatown Wars: Game loads into menu, after going passed the save menu screen though, the Wii U shows a crash dump screen.

This emulator has a lot potential, it's sadly that has no more updates :(, but minimun let's continue testing more games and update the compatibility list :)

I tested some games and I got the following results

Firmware: 5.5.1
SD type and class: microSD 16GB class 10
Launcher version: Browserhax, Homebrew launcher 1.4
Emulator version: v1.5.4-998-g08f26439c (last build)
Settings: No frameskip, lazy texture caching (ON), Disable slower effects (ON).

FIFA Soccer 06: The graphics aren't rendered correctly, you can only view the menus, red screen during the gameplay

Flowers (J): Stuck on game data install screen. (Note: This problem also happens on PPSSPP for desktop). Your need a save file for solve this, but as PPSSPP for Wii U port doesn't have the MS install data feature you can't proceed

Hatsune Miku Project Diva: Heavy slowdowns (10-30fps) during the gameplay depending on the songs, the game has random lockups when you start a song

Sunday Vs Magazine Shuuketsu! Choujou Daikessen (J): Runs somewhat fast, on graphic settings choose PSPx2 for rendering resolution, lazzy texture caching ON and Disable slower effects ON for better result, very playable.

Sword art online: Infinity Moment (English patch v1.0): Runs slow, no audio, much noise. Voice samples and SFX only, random lockups from until 2 minutes to wait during the gameplay

The Id@lmaster Shiny Festa Honey Sound: Major graphical issues, you can only view the intro, the menus are invisible. The game crashes before starting a song

Tokimeki Memorial 4 (J): Works excelent, minor slowdowns

I made a video where I am testing these games and more but the tokimeki memorial 4 game runs so well that Konami gave me a content ID claim, the video is avariable but contains some ads from the owner, therefore, I don't think to share it here, sorry.

Also, I have attached all compatibility information in this forum and created a new compatibility list.

(I can't share links for now).

Finally I have a question, How to save on PPSSPP for Wii U?, PPSSPP doesn't recognize any of my savefiles, I have created multiple directories for my savefiles but don't work, I know that the save feature is already implemented because there's a video (Where someone is testing the soul calibur broken destiny) is clearly demonstrated.

and sorry for my bad english.

just go through the drop down from master to the Wiiu Branches at bottom.

Thanks @ploggy for pointing this out and link.

I dont really care for it since I plan to use PS3 but this is quite an achievement on WiiU and I would like to see it do Better or be up to speed for Better or Absolute Game Compatability:yayu:

If someone could at least add Wii U Pro controller support and look into fixing the random ocasional freezes on some games it would already be a step in the right direction.

Would love to have a fully playable MGS: Peace Walker at some point, but any improvement to this emulator is welcome.

Did a forwarder to have a fancy icon in Wii U menu :P
Download
ID: 0005000057505350 (WPSP)
Banner name: PPSSPP
Boot sound: Wii U app stock sound

It points to the .rpx file in your SD
SD:/wiiu/apps/ppsspp/ppsspp.rpx <--- use this folder structure if you want use this forwarder

IT NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED TO USB! (bug in hbl2hbc forwarder code, base for this one)

There's an issue when trying to exit the app using this forwarder, it will show a flashing light-blue screen and reinitilize PPSSPP instead exiting to HBL or Wii U menu, but our good @ploggy discover a trick to exit, and it's pressing HOME during a light-blue screen, it will bring the HOME menu, then you can close the app from there :)

So I like your Contribution, and also obviously the OP's, as I am going Wii U Hack Banana's. Albiet a little late to the game,,,But Just wondering and had to ask someone... Can this Emulator not be opened inside Retroarch? Could the sd root ppsspp folder not be placed in retroarch\cores\ folder or something?

I recently hacked my Wii U and got PPSSPP on it. I've tested a couple of games and some homebrew.
iso Games
Crazy Taxi Flare Wars: The intro FMVs and initial game selection menu run fine. If Crazy Taxi is selected, the emulator will crash and show a dump screen at either the title or menu screen when a voice clip is played. When Crazy Taxi 2 is selected, the load and save screens appear garbled. The title screen and menu this time don't crash. However when you select anything, the UMD loading screen appears then it returns to the title screen of this compilation. Doesn't work (both games)
Jeanne d'Ark: When it boots up the load and save screens are blank. Once you get past this you'll see an interior model. After the FMVs will play with sound but no picture. Once in game it runs at a decent speed and the locations are visible. However the text and character models aren't. In short the backgrounds and sound work, but the sprites and character models don't appear. Not playable
Homebrew Games & Emulators
Atari Jaguar Emulator: I tried this with an Atari Karts rom. It boots extremely slowly, then this emulator runs at about 80% the speed it does on the PSP. It was essentially unplayable on that hardware, so I didn't expect it to boot on this build of PPSSPP. I suppose this technically works (in the context of emulation of the PSP system)
KurokPSP: When it loads the menu appears a bit grainy, but is functional. In game the first-person hand appears and you are able to switch between a knife and a bow. However the background is all a shade of blue. I tried both the normal and slim eboots, they both perform the same. To run the slim eboot simply change the system emulated to PSP 2000/3000 in the settings. Partially functional.
MADrigalPSP v1.0: In the menu whenever you move the cursor onto another game, it makes this strange garbled sound. Other than that everything works as it should.
pspdragon v1.3: The splash screen appears, then the OS appears garbled. If you remember the virtual keyboard and know how the computer this emulates works, perhaps you can load something.
rROOTAGE: The loading screen appears then it crashes.

Thankfully PPSSPP on Wii U is very stable. If the emulator crashes, you'll get sent back to the homebrew launcher. Also if a game doesn't work, you can easily get out of it.

Naruto Shippuden Ultimate ninja impact runs slow on buffered rendering while skipping buffer effects goes very fast with frameskip set to 1 , has text issues and a few graphical bugs while in-game but is kinda playable until now, except for that text issue that is impossible to read something in the game
Using firmware 5.5.3U, 16GB class 10 SD card, homebrew launcher 1.4 and the currently last version of PPSSPP

Is this still being worked on last time I tested a load of features were missing

Sent from my GM1920 using Tapatalk

Looks like the code is being worked on again which is great, but that’s just it.
Not gonna get my hopes up and expect an oficial release until it actually comes along.
However, I wish there were a way to promote or donate to the devs and let them know we are supportive.
I would love a smoothly running Metal Gear Peacewalker, God of War and Tekken among others on my Wii U someday.
