Steam Autumn sale begins today, features 13,000 games on sale, and Steam Controller for $5

L9K4gNt.png

Just like nearly every other retailer on the planet, Steam is holding a sale this Thanksgiving week, discounting thousands of games, and even some hardware. Games such as Cities Skylines, Fallout 4, and DOOM 2016 are marked down significantly, while games that released this year, like Code Vein, Gears of War 5, and Rage 2 are on sale as well. In total, there are more than 13,000 games to choose from in Steam's Autumn Sale, including a steep price drop on the Steam Controller, which is currently available in low quantities for $5. The Steam sale will last from today, until December 3rd.

thought about buying that Steam controller too, but it's so hard to accept such a great deal when the shipping cost to my country is so frigging ridiculous.
not to mention the amount of time i'll have to wait.

You're better off with an Xbox controller, because they're not crap.

Valve can run their sales however they want, but...
"Notice: Limited quantity remaining"
and
"Delivery delays are expected due to high order volume"

Are not compatible statements. Either you are limiting the sale to stock on hand and should be able to deliver them immediately or you are only willing to sell one of these per person at that price regardless of whether you have any in stock or not. Since it is obviously the latter, why not just be ethical and state that? No need to be scummy about your sale, Valve.

For €16, hopefully it's hand delivered by Gabe.
i'm 100% sure that my package will handled by some salty underpaid romanian or albanian.....

how do you do this?
edit: seems like you can't. buying some other physical item allows you to change quantity, but not for steam controller.
Yeah since my message they seem to have changed it. Probably wasn't intended.

There's also a controller carrying case on sale for $2. I went ahead and picked up both, but after shipping my total was $19. Still a good deal for a controller that normally sells for $50.

Then why get a Steam controller? lol
Curiosity’s sake. I have a PC setup in my bedroom and I can’t sit at the TV with a traditional mouse and keyboards. I’m interested in trying the steam controller for games like Civ or something. I totally understand it might suck though so lol.

Ah, well that's fair :P Also is AC: Origins on PC any good? It's on sale for super cheap, I just don't know if my PC can handle it x3

CPU - Core i7 4470
GPU - GTX 1660 TI
RAM - 16 GB
OS - Win 10 64-bit

I hear lovely things about the game but I hated it. Odyssey is far superior IMO. (You can prob get away with low settings if you do wanna try though! Don’t forget steam has a <2hr refund policy if it doesn’t work!)
