@Dodain47 You noted on the wiki that Dark Arena was not booting anymore, but it seems to me that it works fine with disabled wram icache on the latest version. Bratz - Forever Diamondz also works fine for me, but it is noted to be crashing after the language select screen for some reason. (both tested on my IS-NITRO, so idk if results may differ on other hardware)

Edit: I've added some patches for mega man battle network 1, 2, 3 and 4. All except 3 seem to be playable now.

Dark Arena works for me now aswell with wramicache disabled. This is strange, because last time I checked the game crashed twice in a row after the "Oh yeah!" voice sample.
Bratz - Forever Diamondz still crashes though with either wramicache enabled/disabled on my base ds model.
Edit: I tested this with the previous master. Maybe this works with the latest build released 3 hours ago.
Edit2: Good News is that Megaman Battle Network 3 Blue/White are both playable. They boot about 15-20 seconds after the Capcom logo.
Edit3: Dark Arena whitescreens for me after the bios intro. Bratz Forever Diamondz crashes at random. Sometimes it works, sometimes it glitches out. I use the latest master.

Actually, all Megaman Battle Network games are playable now. (Including Rockman EXE 4.5 - Real Operation)

I'm gonna test the translation of the 6th game shortly with the Virtual Console patch. There was a translation of the Japanese version of the games to allow us over here to play the game that was superior as it had a lot of cut content like the Boktai sidequest for example.

I just tried to load the game and it still crashed. This is the aformentioned patch version and I can confirm the non VC patch still crashes the game. I'm thinking it's an issue with the patch itself that has yet to be addressed. For now, I'll link the archive and let y'all handle the rest.

I tested Rockman EXE 6 - Dennoujuu Falzar and Rockman EXE 6 - Dennoujuu Gregar with the translation patch.
Both work well with my 3DS. I fought the Intro battle against the Robodog.
Both games crash during the titlescreen on my base ds.
I used the latest master release for testing. I think this could be a highcode case.

Man that stinks. I guess we can add that to my list of games that don't work on my potato DS Lite.

What?! The TwilightMenu even works on an NDS??? I'm surprised! Is there any point to using it if I have a normal DS flashcard (M3 DS Real with Sakura, Ysmenu and old Wood RPG/R4)?

When did it come out for the NDS/Lite? I thought it was only for DSi and 3DS until seeing your post here. :)

Edit: Is there any advantage in overclocking NDS games and is it safe that it can't overheat or damage NDS/Lite in any way? And to keep things on topic, will TwilightMenu run GBA games better than if I run them from Ysmenu, if it can use overclocking the emulate them better?

Do you think it might help if you used TwilightMenu on your NDS to launch the games? Or does it overclock games only for NDS games, so it wouldn't help hardware-wise? Or the problem isn't hardware (like the compatability changelog states for some games) and the intro crash is just software-related?

Right now, you need the extra ram that is provided by the DSi (16MB) and 3DS (32MB) to play these games.
I don´t think it makes a difference if you use the TwilightMenu on a NDS.

TWiLight Menu++ has always worked on NDS/Lite.
Also, overclocking isn't possible.
One advantage, is that you can play games on flashcards that never played them in the first place, like Action Replay DSi and Max Media Dock.
You can still play games via B4DS (used to boot commercial ROMs), but compatibility will be a bit lower, otherwise, you can just run both new and old homebrew.

Thanks! Pity, I was hoping they'd be able to run since I can't find my GBA expansion ever since the move. If I could only solder it myself or something, haha!

Just dropping in to share my appreciation for the effort here, it's simply incredible. Never thought something like this was possible.
I'll be waiting on button remapping since B/A config it's unbearable for me on a DS setup, but I'm watching this thread almost daily.

I have one question though: what's the main difference between running this on a DSi and a 3DS? I'm thinking of getting a DSi just to run this since it's resolution is best fit for GBA games, and the D-pad is amazing.

I can confirm that the Nights into Dreams Score Attack demo works on this thing too! Note that you can't save the score but that's fine as it's meant to be a short thing anyway. I own a Japanese copy of Suikoden Card Stories and I decided to patch a rom I made off of it with the english translation and it crashes right when you start a new game. It's likely another highcode case. I wish I could play this game in english given that I played the whole thing in Japanese and managed to damn near 100% it!
