[Release] HiyaCFW - World's FIRST Nintendo DSi CFW!

Here it is, the first DSi CFW!

Video by @Apache Thunder (When RocketLauncher was planned for a release. With WarioWare Touched (DSiWare version) installed.):

(NOTE: Since hiyaCFW has been released a few days ago (as of posting this), and no official thread has been made, I decided to go and make it, despite not making the actual patches for it. :P )

With this CFW, you can run custom DSiWare, alongside region free and 3DS-exclusive DSiWare (WarioWare Touched), on your SD card, via NAND to SD redirection!
You can also run blocked flashcards (such as R4 Ultra).

FAQs

Q: Can I use a custom splash for hiyaCFW?
A: Yes you can. Place it at "sd:/hiya/" and name them "splashtop.bmp" and "splashbottom.bmp". Make sure they're actually saved as .bmp files, with the size of 256x192, with no color space info, and is 16-bit. .gif files will also work instead of .bmp files.

Can I ask that the 'touch input does not work' problem on iQue DSI is by HiyaCFW or by unlaunch 2.0?
I assume it's by unlaunch, because I get no touch input even booting slot1 cards directly from unlaunch.

Will splash screens at the bottom be a feature as well, I like the having one at the top but it would also be nice to have one at the bottom.

It's already committed, but there's a weird bug preventing to boot "bootloader.nds", which is preventing a new release.

Would there be a benefit to an N3DS XL user buying a DSI XL+installing HiyaCFW? I really want to get back into NDS games & regret selling my DSI XL+Flash cart =(. Is there a particular firmware I should look for or are all firmwares hackable on the DSI?

You can install homebrew on the latest firmware version (and all the way back to v1.4 iirc) , no special software/hardware required.

As far as I know, in terms of DSi vs 3DS homebrew, are no benefits outside of being able to launch DSiWare .NDS files (which should be added to nds-bootstrap soon, I think).

Thank you for your explanation. My main concern boils down to DS games however. With HiyaCfw for example, would one still need a flash cart to run NDS files or could they run off of an SD card (DSI XL)? My main concern running ds games on 3ds is overcoming the blurriness and black bars added on the sides; although, my understanding is that with the widescreen codes that is becoming a thing of the past, but even then there is still the question of compatability (how many ds games can be run in widescreen mode on 3ds) & how difficult/time consuming is the process of utilizing widescreen mode?

Nope, it can be done with SD alone. Not all homebrew works, though.

I'm not sure about that, maybe ask in the TWLMenu++ thread.

Did any error appear in HiyaCFW Helper?

The helper should be replacing unlaunch tmd automatically, so that shouldn't be happening.

If it didn't, it's included in HiyaCFW download ("for SDNAND SD card".)

Chinese and Korean launchers are not available for download from the big N servers. Someone provided me with 1.4 NAND backups for those regions, so I extracted, decrypted and patched their launchers, tested them in no$gba but they were unable to boot from the SD card. We need a special patch for them so I need to contact nocash directly to help us with this, but I haven't had time to do that.
Hello, can you provide Chinese and Korean NAND backups to me? I need them. I want to use it for research, thank you!
